Dominic DeLuca (39), Vito Riccabona (39), Seamus Carey (41) and Joey Mackle (46) also scored for the Mariners. Santa Cruz 217, San Lorenzo Valley 226: Myles Statsky shot over par 36 on the first nine at DeLaveaga Golf Course 2 on Tuesday to become a medalist and the Cardinals won their SCCAL match. Ryan Hodge shot 40 to lead SLV (4-2). Harbor 213, Scotts Valley 220: Matthew Munro shot 1-under-par 33 on the front nine at the DeLaveaga Golf Course to earn medal wins and lead the Pirates to SCCAL victory on Tuesday. Munro had birdies on holes 1 and 8. Ian Holbert (39), Jason Tucker (45) and Nash Campbell (47) also scored for the Pirates (3-2). Delano Porco and Holden Ellis each shot 49, the Pirates' final score. Duncan had three birdies (holes #2, #5, #9). At Aptos 10, Alvarez 1: Jack Spinelli was 2 for 3 with three RBI in Tuesday's Mariners nonleague win. Matt Hood was 2 for 3 with two doubles and an RBI for Aptos (9-4). Chase Aiken pitched three innings and knocked out three batters. St. Francis 10, at Soquel 6: Noel Aquino and Kai Price hit home runs and the Sharks won their non-league game on Tuesday. Aquino finished with three RBI and three runs scored. Price had three hits, an RBI and hit twice. Junior Ibarra had two hits and three runs, and Nash Horton had two hits and three RBI. Ibarra pitched five innings for the win. Nick DeBernardo had two hits, two RBI and two runs for the Knights. Nick Barnes and Matt Blanke also scored two runs. Aptos 7, Carmel 0: Koosha Safari, Bennett Biscotti and Heath Hegna didn't concede a game in their straight-set wins and the Mariners picked up a win in their non-league game on Tuesday. Aptos is 32-4 in singles this season. John McGowan and Jack Eldredge, Sean Spencer and Nick Hambright, and Andrew Morrissey and Jack Taylor won their doubles matches in straight sets. Senior versus Zack Stack had eight kills, four aces, and three blocks for the Griffins. Senior setter Ryan Kolderup had four kills, 17 assists and seven aces.
