Keir Starmer was bundled into a police car after protesters shouted Savile insults

Conservative MPs last night said Boris Johnson had endangered Sir Keir Starmer after protesters ambushed and accused the Labor leader outside Parliament (Author: Gardener)

Keir StarmerConservative MPs said last night Boris Johnson endangered Sir Keir Starmer after protesters ambushed the Labor leader outside Parliament, accusing him of protecting Jimmy Savile. Police had to put Starmer in a car after he was surrounded by a mob shouting the child abuser's name and insults, including "paedo protector". He was returning to Parliament with David Lammy, the shadow foreign secretary, after a briefing on Ukraine at the Ministry of Defense when he was apprehended just after 5pm. The Metropolitan Police said they made two arrests after a police officer was allegedly assaulted. MPs from both main parties, including six Tories, linked the incident to Johnson's allegation last week that Starmer failed to bring charges against Savile as chief prosecutor. Starmer was not personally involved in the decision, but apologized on behalf of prosecutors in 2013. Julian Smith, a former Northern Ireland secretary under Johnson, said: "It's really important for our democracy and for [Starmer's] security that the wrong Savile offends . Some Conservative backbench MPs, many of whom had already urged the prime minister to resign, supported Smith's criticism of Johnson. Tory MP Sir Roger Gale said the "somber scenes" were "the direct result of deliberately lax language in the chamber". MP Tobias Ellwood, who sent a no-confidence letter like Gale Johnson, tweeted: "PM - My apologies. We claim to be the mother of all parliaments. Let's prevent this drift into a Trumpian style of politics from becoming the norm.” Former Minister David Davis, who has already urged the Prime Minister to leave, said Boris Johnson should “take responsibility” and apologize and retract the comments entirely . "If he retracts those [Savile's comments] and offers an unreserved apology, it could indicate a change in attitude that frankly would make many of my colleagues more comfortable after the past few months," he told LBC. He later told GB News that Starmer was "not guilty of anything in relation to Jimmy Saville". The people involved in this riot have previously done similar things to Michael Gove and BBC journalist Nick Watt,” he told Sky News. “You mentioned Jimmy Savile. Johnson tweeted: "The behavior towards the leader of the opposition is absolutely disgraceful. The crowd had protested against Covid-19 restrictions outside Parliament. A man and woman were arrested after a traffic cone was thrown at officers. A man and woman were arrested after a traffic cone was thrown at officers, the Metropolitan Police said. The video showed Piers Corbyn, the Covid-19 conspiracy theorist brother of Jeremy Corbyn, Starmer's predecessor as Labor leader, addressing the crowd before the incident and later leading chants of "resist, defy, disobey". One man seen approaching Starmer was William Coleshill, a former Conservative councilor who is co-editor of anti-lockdown YouTube channel Resistance GB, which chronicled the incident. Coleshill, who was suspended from the party over racist remarks, was previously recorded stalking Michael Gove, the Foreign Secretary for Leveling, Housing and Communities, and Nick Watt, the BBC journalist. Johnson is likely to face angry calls from both sides of the aisle today to retract his claims about Savile. A senior Labor source told The Times: "These are the forces that Boris Johnson has decided to unleash and which all Tories who support him support." Starmer was escorted to the safety of a police car, Lammy told Lammy it was " no surprise the conspiracy theorist thugs harassed Keir Starmer and I repeated insults we heard from Boris Johnson at the shipping box last week." He added: "Intimidation, harassment and lying have no place in our democracy." Among the Tory MPs who linked the scenes in Parliament last week to the Prime Minister's attack on Starmer was Robert Largan, the High Peak represents. Aaron Bell, Tory MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme, who has also urged Johnson to get through lockdown parties at Downing Street, said: "Physical intimidation has no part in our democracy and we all have a responsibility, in one To debate in moderation and manner.” Chris Bryant, the Labor leader of the Commons Standards Committee, was more outspoken than his Conservative peers. "This was instigated by the Prime Minister," he said. This is what happens when a prime minister descends into the gutter and recycles lies from far-right conspiracy theorists. Cabinet ministers joined Johnson in condemning the protesters but stopped addressing their cries over Savile. "Shocked by the scenes outside Parliament," said Secretary of State Liz Truss. “In our democracy it is important that Keir Starmer, David Lammy and all MPs can go about their work without fear. This intimidation must stop.” Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, said: “All MPs must be able to go about their lives without fear of threats or intimidation. The scenes outside Parliament addressing Keir Starmer and David Lammy were totally unacceptable. I'm in contact with the police about the incident.” At a meeting of Conservatives Abroad last week, leader of the House of Commons Jacob Rees-Mogg dismissed critics of Johnson about the Savile and Downing Street parties as “outsiders”, eh the Times learned. Yesterday Starmer, 59, was acquitted of charges that he broke lockdown rules when he was filmed drinking beer in an office in April last year. Conservatives, including Johnson, have attempted to use the incident against Starmer, but Durham Police said after reviewing the video they did not believe lockdown rules had been broken. PM's criticism of Starmer was correct says KwartengJavid follows Sunak with a smack on PM over Savile's comment

Goals with a serve at Bramall Lane

Steve Bruce takes charge of West Brom for the first time on Wednesday night as the Baggies look to get back on track against Sheffield United. Mark O'Haire previews the encounter. (Author: Gardener)

Bramall LaneSheffield United recorded seven wins from nine league games as they beat Birmingham with goals from skipper Billy Sharp and defender Jayden Bogle at St Andrew's last Friday. The victory propelled the Blades to 10th place on the table - with games in hand - as their transformation into realistic promotion contenders gathers momentum. Paul Heckingbottom's charges conceded midway through the second half, although the deficit lasted just three minutes before Sharp threaded in a clean pass from Sander Berge to equalize. And in the 74th minute, the Blades took the lead when John Fleck played in Bogle, who timed his run to dodge the linesman's flag and brought home the eventual winner. Speaking after the game, Heckingbottom said: “A really good win, the fact that we came from behind and the way we reacted, I felt like we deserved what West Brom will do for the rest of the season miss, with Billy Sharp and Iliman Ndiaye likely to continue attacking, but Conor Hourinhane could return to midfield.West Brom parted ways with boss Valerien Ismael last week after a poor result streak that resulted in a 2-0 defeat at Millwall as well as widespread criticism on the club's style of football. After a flying start to the campaign, Albion have won just eight of their last 24 games while collecting 14 points from a possible 39, with goals also dwindling. The Baggies quickly decided to appoint Steve Bruce as their new manager in hopes the 60-year-old boss could secure a fifth Premier League promotion.WBA are expected to change the system ahead of Wednesday night's competition.Under Ismael preferred Albion He formed a 3-4-3 formation with Andy Carroll, who made his off-cam debut in the Millwall match, starting alongside Matt Phillips and Karlan Grant in attack. The meetings between Sheffield United and West Brom have traditionally been competitive affairs, with the Blades and Baggies sharing an equal score of S8-D3-L8 in their last 19 league games since 1998. Albion won 4-0 away in the second leg in August and away The side have also won top honors in three of their last six trips to Bramall Lane. Sheffield United 2,466/4 find form in contention for top six. The Blades have had an excellent W7-D3-L2 in league games since the international break in November, with Paul Heckingbottom's troops finishing fifth in expected points (xP) all season. West Brom 3,259/4 scored 13/15 in August but have since gone W8-D8-L8 to fall eight points from the automatic promotion places. The Baggies have only managed W3-D5-L5 in their last 13 league games, with away form really suffering as a result; Albion have had a single championship success on the road since September (W1-D2-L7). Sheffield United have kept their blades clean in six of their last 10 league clashes, a streak that includes three direct shutouts on home soil. Bramall Lane encounters average 2.55 goals with over 2.5 goals. 2,285/4 supporters rally in 45% of matches but Wednesday's clash could be a tight affair given the circumstances. West Brom games averaged just 2.00 goals per game - the second-lowest number in the division - with 9/15 (60%) road trips scoring fewer than three goals. Steve Bruce will be happy to address an Albion side that has shot in eight of their last 12 gaps, although building a decent defensive base for the new boss will remain a priority. A good 19/29 (66%) of WBA games have already paid in this market, including 10 out of 15 on their trips. Meanwhile, just five of Sheffield United's 11 home games have seen goals from either side, with seven of the Blades scoring after 10 winning payouts on BTTS no-bets.

Man Utd, PSG and Juve eye Lazio's Milinkovic-Savic

Juve eye Lazio'sTransfer Talk brings you the latest rumours, comings and goings and of course deals done! According to Calciomercato, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all interested in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serie A side want €80m as a transfer fee, with the Serbia international impressive but reportedly keen to continue as his contract runs until 2024. For Manchester United, the move could be seen as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba. who will leave the club himself in the summer. The Frenchman is without a contract and could leave as a free agent in the summer. Milinkovic-Savic is seen as a player of a similar form, capable of making the runs of an attacking midfielder while having the stature to play more defensively when needed. There are reports that they may try to sign some of these players, with 26-year-old Milinkovic-Savic stepping in. Zakaria, planned for 5 million by Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri. 15.55 GMT: Aston Villa midfielder Trezeguet is on loan at Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir until the end of the season. 14.56 GMT: Paul Pogba's time at Man United is almost over but Mark Ogden asks if he can leave with a Champions League legacy? Had the 28-year-old contributed to a Premier League title or Champions League triumph, the huge financial outlay for his fee and reported weekly wage of £290,000 might have been worth it. But with the clock ticking down in the final months of his tenure at United before he is expected to leave as a free agent in the summer, it's impossible to assume the move has paid off for club or player unless you want to take that into account in the Increase in social media followers of both parties during their time together. While Pogba wasn't the transformative signing United expected and needed from him when he joined the club shortly after Jose Mourinho's appointment as manager in the summer of 2016, his failure is by no means solely down to his own shortcomings and inconsistent performances. 14.35 GMT: Barcelona want to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde but there is a big problem, say Sport. Kounde, 23, has been linked with a move from the club for some time and Chelsea almost landed him six months ago. Barca are cash-strapped amid their €1.4bn debt and are trying to save whatever cash they can scrape together to bring in a striker, namely Dortmund's Erling Haaland. Manager Xavi believes Kounde would help repair his defense but the club could instead turn to Chelsea duo Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta, both available on free transfers in the summer. 13.48 GMT: Manchester City forward Bernardo Silva is yet to agree on a new contract, Record says. 27-year-old Silva revealed he was looking to leave the club last summer but decided to stay and has been in good form this season. The Portugal international's contract expires in 2025 so there's no big rush, but the report says the two sides are nowhere near an agreement. 1.30pm GMT: Xherdan Shaqiri left Liverpool six months ago to join Lyon and now it looks like he is making the move to MLS. 12.40 GMT - ICYMI - Manchester United has been named the club with the heaviest transfer losses in the last decade, spending more than 1 billion euros ($1.14 billion) on players. 12.16 GMT: Barcelona chief executive Ferran Reverter has resigned. Sources told ESPN that the club's sponsorship deal with Spotify was the latest in a series of disputes between the CEO and President Joan Laporta. Reverter has been seen as a key member of Laporta's management team since taking office in July as Barca look to restructure their finances and deal with the club's €1.35 billion debt. However, sources told ESPN that Reverter has disagreed with Laporta on a number of issues since taking charge at the Camp Nou. The deal with Spotify was seen as the last straw, sources said. 12.00 GMT: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has never been shy about the fact that he likes to keep himself in peak physical condition, but the AC Milan striker's recent reminder of the sheer stamina it takes to remain in the series at the age of 40 Playing A really made an impact. Given Ibra's inspiring efforts, it's probably no surprise that he's considering staying on for another season even though his contract with Milan expires in the summer. With eight goals in 19 club games this season, Ibrahimovic is certainly a good argument for a new contract. 11.00 GMT: Have Man City squandered £100m to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa? 10.10 GMT: Karim Benzema feels "threatened" by reports that Real Madrid are hoping to sign both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland and wants to meet with president Florentino Perez to discuss the club's summer plans, according to French magazine Onze . ESPN has reported that Mbappe is Madrid's "absolute priority" for the next window when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires. Madrid are also keen on Borussia Dortmund's Haaland and have the funds to complete both deals - and that, Onze reports, has made Benzema wonder where he fits in. The 34-year-old French forward has been in the form of his life this season, having already scored 17 goals in LaLiga. Onze claims Benzema doesn't care about Mbappe's links - as the two have bonded well internationally - but is concerned about Haaland's potential signing. The magazine report that Benzema plans to meet club president Perez next month to discuss a new contract himself, with the deal set to expire in 2023. 09.26 GMT: Manchester United has been named the club with the biggest transfer losses in the past decade, with more than 1 billion euros ($1.14 billion) for players. David Moyes started Everton's trend of Frank Lampard needing to continue against Newcastle United

Everton got off to a great start under Frank Lampard, beating Brentford 4-1 in the FA Cup but now they face a crucial Premier League game against Newcastle United (Author: Gardener)

Frank LampardDavid Moyes during a Premier League match between Everton and Newcastle United After a dream start as manager of Everton in the FA Cup, where he beat Brentford 4-1, Frank Lampard is now looking for his first three points in the Premier League as boss of the Blues. Everton will hope Saturday's emphatic win - which stunned another draw at Goodison Park in the last 16 against non-League Boreham Wood and ended 1-0 with Championship side Bournemouth on Sunday night - now sees them back in brought the winning habit to allow them to start climbing the table. The Blues know that a defeat at Newcastle United would see the Magpies, currently second from bottom in the table, just a point behind, but St James' Park has been a happy hunting ground for visitors in recent years. READ MORE: Frank Lampard restored the Goodison Park feel-good factor but the new Everton boss knows more is needed. Everton have turned what emerged as David Moyes as Blues boss last year into a flyer but they have had to recover from an early setback at St James' Park. Just two minutes into the competition, Papiss Cisse headed Newcastle United ahead after Sylvain Distin and John Heitinga collided. However, the Blues equalized in spectacular fashion two minutes before the break with what was arguably the club's greatest strike from Leighton Baines. It was a particularly sweet victory given home coach Alan Pardew's dig at the end of last season when his Newcastle side finished fifth - two places ahead of Moyes' men - and he claimed his side are now "in a different league" to Everton . If the previous visit to St James' Park produced Baine's biggest goal for the club, it was Ross Barkley's here. The Blues midfielder broke the deadlock midway through the first half when he caught the ball in his own half over 60 yards from the Newcastle United goal before dribbled all the way into the home side's penalty area, knocking out three opposing defenders in the process, including Fabricio Coloccini, who landed on his butt before effortlessly planting a left foot in the roof of Krul's net. With John Stones wearing a large bandage on his forehead after a header duel with Luuk de Jong and setting up the visitors' defence, Everton were able to knock out their hosts at will and Romelu Lukaku doubled their lead in the 52nd minute by breaking from the Kante scored from the six yard box after being served by Gerard Deulofeu from a right wing cross. If Roberto Martinez's first success with Everton had been emphatic, the Catalan sweated at this one before Tom Cleverley gave the traveling Blues a belated Christmas present well into injury time. In the 93rd minute, the midfielder headed his first goal for the club with a round shot after home keeper Rob Elliot rushed off his line to parry a Deulofeu corner, prompting moments of celebration from the visitors and securing their first win in five games . A third clean sheet in four games since Sam Allardyce's arrival helped secure their first away win since January, which ironically came against an Allardyce-managed Crystal Palace side. Wayne Rooney's close-range shot, his ninth of the season (used mainly by Allardyce in midfield, would only be followed by one - from the penalty spot in their next home game against Swansea) in the 27th minute proved the difference The hosts were reduced to 10 men in the final seconds , when former Liverpool midfielder Jonjoe Shelvey was sent off for an ugly lunge on Idrissa Gueye. The Blues scored a Christmas hat-trick at St James' Park in just over four years (there was no visit in 2016/17 as Rafa Benitez guided Newcastle United to the Championship) while the team continued their revival by Carlo Ancelotti. Boosted by a 1-0 home win over Burnley on Boxing Day thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's header, the Sheffield-born centre-forward again proved a match-winner. He has all the qualities of a top striker,” the visitors shot ahead in the 13th minute with a real poacher finish. Fabian Schar equalized for the hosts in the 56th minute with a volley after a head nod from Andy Carroll, but the Blues were undeniable and eight minutes later Calvert-Lewin struck again, slipping and crawling from Richarlison's right wing home.

Masked Singer viewers in hysterics over Joan Collins' deep regret over ITV show

Joan CollinsNational treasure Dame Joan Collins appeared as a guest judge on The Masked Singer alongside Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Rita Ora - and fans loved her reaction to the ITV show's big revelations Dame Joan Collins left The Masked Singer viewers giggling , as she appeared "confused" by the revelation of Michelle Williams as she starred in Saturday's semifinals. Fans of the ITV show were convinced the 88-year-old had absolutely no idea who the giant Destiny's Child star was - and felt her confused reaction betrayed her "deep regret" that she had agreed to take part. After weeks of speculation, Rockhopper was finally revealed as the American singing star on Saturday night. Dame Joan joined in the fun - and viewers loved her reaction as the masks of Dallas and Dynasty legend Dame Joan joined Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Rita Ora as guest judges. Viewers were in hysterics over Joan's seemingly confused reaction to Michelle's big moment. She smiled and clapped as she removed the mask - unlike the others, who were all left gaping. Fans littered social media with comments after she didn't seem quite sure what was going on when the mask was removed. Michelle Williams is Rockhopper - and not many suspected that it was the singer. One wrote: "Joan Collins has absolutely no idea who Michelle Williams is #TheMaskedSingerUK." Another said: "Joan Collins' confused reaction to Michelle Williams is instant meme material!" A third added: "Joan Collins doesn't know , who is Michelle, and had never heard of Destiny's Child before tonight." One fan wrote, "Joan looks like she deeply regrets agreeing to appear on this #MaskedSingerUK," while another shared, "I don't think Joan Collins knows what's happening with #MaskedSingerUK." Jack Grealish looks worse in the evening and is 'rejected'

Footage has emerged of Manchester City and England's Jack Grealish, looking worse, apparently being refused entry from a bar one night. (Author: Gardener)

Jack GrealishFootage has emerged of Manchester City and England's Jack Grealish, looking worse, apparently refused entry from a bar on a Sunday night. In a clip shared on TikTok, the £100million star is seen nearby on a night out with teammates Kyle Walker and Riyad Mahrez. The video posted by Mizormalc is captioned: "Man like Jacky too drunk to come in". Grealish can be seen in a white hoodie outside the Albert Scholss - a Bavarian beer cellar in Manchester city center - with a number of other people surrounding him. City say the video was taken at 7pm on Sunday night and that none of the players broke a curfew because they had a day off on Monday ahead of today's training session and Wednesday night's Premier League home game against Brentford. The club also deny any suggestion that the players were drunk and insist it was their own decision not to go to the packed Albert's Castle. The midfielder is certainly risking the wrath of his manager Pep Guardiola less than two months after he was dropped alongside Phil Foden for 'not showing up to a recovery session in the right condition'. They were benched for one game by the manager and afterwards he revealed it wasn't just about changing his squad. The Spaniard had given his team some time to relax after a seven-goal win over Leeds in December. Guardiola was away from the club at the time, having attended the announcement of Serio Aguero's retirement, but other staff were unimpressed by Foden and Grealish's behaviour. After benching the duo, Guardiola explained: “I chose this team because they deserve to play – these guys and not the others. “During the Christmas season, I pay a lot of attention to behavior on and off the pitch. And if (the behavior) is not appropriate off the field, they will not play. Grealish is no stranger to scratches off the pitch and made headlines back in March 2020 after crashing his car into two stationary vehicles after a party during lockdown. The incident came just hours after Grealish posted a video urging them to protect the NHS. Grealish was also left out of the Villa picks by then-manager Remi Garde in 2015 after a night out at Manchester nightclub Panacea. The former Aston Villa captain has had a slow start to life at City following his record-breaking move to the Etihad. He has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Guardiola's side, scoring three goals and three assists in that time.

Lewis and Tuivasa are ready for the post-fight spotlight and a warning to an undefeated contender

Will UFC 271 have shoes or ditch combat gear? And can Robert Whittaker solve Israel Adesanya the second time around? (Author: Gardener)

LewisAfter Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa hurled menacing leather in their direction at the co-main event of UFC 271 in Houston on Saturday night, it's time for the real show. That's no indication of the main event between UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and former champion Robert Whittaker, although their rematch promises to be some serious fireworks. But just before that fuse is lit, what happens immediately after the co-main will be no less of a spectacle. If Lewis wins, he could celebrate by ripping off his too-hot shorts like he did after defeating Alexander Volkov in 2018, or by tossing his mug at the crowd (remember his post-fight presser, after stopping Chris Daukaus in lap 1?). . If Tuivasa wins, someone will go home with soaked shoes. UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will defend his title in a rematch against Robert Whittaker, and heavyweight contenders Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa will face off in the co-main event. UFC 271: Adesanya vs. • Main Card: 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV • Early Prelims: 6:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+ Subscribe to ESPN+ to get exclusive UFC live events, weigh-ins and more; Dana White's Contender Series; and more exclusive MMA content. Lewis has 13 knockouts in his UFC career, more than any other fighter in promotion history, in any weight class. Of Tuivasa's seven wins in the UFC, all but one came by KO/TKO. But right after these guys turn off someone's light, they put themselves first by turning the spotlight on the party. Relatively few fighters do postfight properly. The occasional callout zinger or backflip from the top of the fence commands attention, but nothing stands out from the crowd quite like Lewis dumping his battle gear in the middle cage or Tuivasa doing his signature shoey all the way to the locker room. You won't see a celebration like this at the end of the Super Bowl. These heavyweights have made their follow-ups uniquely memorable by thinking outside the box. Until the day comes when one of those fights makes this celebration a validation, it will be among the sport's most organic moments. So which big guy will steal the show this time? When Adesanya defeated Whittaker to give him his UFC Middleweight Championship in Melbourne, Australia in October 2019, these two produced some impressive - and telling - numbers: * 57,124: attendance at Marvel Stadium, the highest ever at a UFC Battle. * 484: Whittaker's dismissal days before going into battle - the longest of his career. * 18-0: Adesanya's record after the win, then the second-best unbeaten mark in the UFC, behind Khabib Nurmagomedov's 28-0. Adesanya has lost for the first time since, but that was in the fight for the light heavyweight title. * 2: Adesanya knockdowns, one in each round. *25: Percentage of Whittaker's significant batting attempts in Round 1 that connected (17 out of 66). Adesanya was particularly elusive when his head was targeted. Whittaker threw 49 punches to the head in the round, landing only six. * 7: Kicks landed by Adesanya – on seven attempts. *1: Choreographed strike by Adesanya which he totally nailed. And here's Whittaker speaking to ESPN over a year ago about his approach to an Adesanya rematch: I don't know how to do it because he's so good man. He's so damn good. And it might be a repeat of what happened last time, but god I want to try, mate!" When Jared Vanderaa made his UFC debut last year, he was able to walk backstage and later join fellow heavyweight Andrei Arlovski on the card fight. It was definitely not Arlovski's debut. In fact, it's safe to say that Vanderaa, who faces Arlovski on Saturday, didn't see his opponent's UFC debut live. Vanderaa was on the night in 2000 when Arlovski entered the Octagon for the first time, aged 8½ years.

Youri TielemansLeicester stunned by Forest in FA Cup Youri Tielemans has apologized for Leicester City's bitter defeat at Nottingham Forest. Boss Brendan Rodgers called Sunday's 4-1 "embarrassing" as the defending champions were eliminated from the FA Cup. Tielemans was sent off after 65 minutes with Rodgers questioning his players' commitment and saying they are now fighting for their future. Belgium international Tielemans, who is yet to sign a new contract despite months of talks, was captain and admitted the Foxes have failed. "This is football, we know it's a big game for Leicester and Nottingham," he told the club's official website. "The crowd is getting hot, which is normal, but the only thing I can say about the fans is that we have to apologize to ours. “They were behind us, they were behind us, but we weren't good enough on the pitch and we didn't represent them well. Hopefully we can do that in the next game but it's very disappointing. "It's always an honor to represent this club, this team and I was really proud of it, but unfortunately it was a night to forget. We just have to digest it, look in the mirror and then we'll see from tomorrow.” Philip Zinckernagel and Brennan Johnson scored just 87 seconds before Joe Worrall made it 3-0. Kelechi Iheanacho scored before the break but Djed Spence sealed the second-half defeat. There were ugly scenes too as a fan from the away side ran to attack the celebrating Forest players after Worrall's goal and Leicester vowed to ban him for life. The hosts of the Sky Bet Championship booked a fifth-round draw at home to Huddersfield as they attempt to reach the last eight for the first time since 1996. "They're a good team so you're always looking for a little bit or two to exploit and luckily one or the other has come out," said boss Steve Cooper. "The second half was always different, deeper, defending in a middle block, but we still looked menacing - Djed scored and there were other chances. The guys were brilliant.”
