Jesy Nelson left Little Mix WITHOUT telling the girls

The 30-year-old singer announced she was leaving the band in December 2020 when she made a long statement on Instagram saying she was stepping down to protect her mental health. (Author: Gardener)

Jesy Nelson has been accused of causing the breakup with her Little Mix bandmates after she left the group without telling them beforehand. The 30-year-old singer announced she was leaving the band in December 2020 when she made a long statement on Instagram saying she was stepping down to protect her mental health. However, a source has now revealed that the move came as a complete shock to members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, who were not discussed the decision and only realized when they saw the post. The surprising move sparked tension between the girls - who have not spoken to Jesy for a year. Now the girls' fallout has taken an ugly and public turn, with Leigh-Anne accusing Jesy of "blackfishing" - a term used to describe a white person trying to have black roots - in leaked news - while Jesy was seen laughing as Nicki accused Minaj Leigh-Anne of being a "jealous clown". However, one source insisted that tensions had been building up for months and told MailOnline, “Jesy created this scenario. She left the band without telling the girls or the management about it! ' After Jesy gave her testimony, the girls decided, although hurt, not to express their surprise and showed their support when they tried to issue a statement expressing their love for her. The quarrel between the former bandmates made headlines around the world this week as leaked news between Leigh-Anne and influencer NoHun saw singer Jesy accuse blackfishing in the music video for her new single Boyz. Jesy then took part in an Instagram livestream with Boyz collaborator Nicki who accused Leigh-Anne of trying to ruin Jesy's new solo career and branded the new mom and the rest of the group as "jealous wretched clowns." Jesy was then labeled "devastated". Leigh-Anne had "sparked racial hatred" and directed a new wave of intense trolling upon her, telling her friends that she could not believe that "someone she once called family could be so cruel". However, a source clarified to MailOnline: “It is not fair to criticize Leigh-Anne for this. They added that Jesy should have been aware of the backlash her music video was going to receive, since she had already discussed blackfishing while she was with Leigh-Anne's band. They stated, “Everyone was very supportive of Jesy. Leigh Anne and others sat down with Jesy years ago and spoke to her about blackfishing - warning her about her excessive tanning and wearing pigtails. But Jesy didn't want to hear it - she just didn't want to know! However, the Blackfishing franchise shows no signs of an imminent extinction after Jesy's pal Nicki doubled her franchise with Leigh-Anne in a series of tweets on Tuesday. After meeting Leigh-Anne with Jesy on Monday during her Instagram live, the rapper repeated her comments in tweets on Tuesday - targeting Leigh-Anne's “messy” fans and accusing her of negatively impacting Jesy's mental health. Jesy has spoken openly about her mental health struggles in the past and revealed in her 2019 BBC documentary Odd One Out that she attempted suicide after being subjected to vicious trolling. After a backlash over the livestream chat, Trinidad born rapper Nicki noticed Jesy's state of mind when she tweeted, “JeLeigh btchs are really messy. ~ If you know that someone has been suicidal by bullying in the past, then why try to get a group of people to bully them again about something else, on an even larger scale? They don't know what ppl can handle. Mental health [sic]. ' The post came after Nicki also attacked Leigh-Anne, which was also less subtle, accusing the singer of only commenting on blackfishing, now that Jesy is no longer helping the band make money. Nicki wrote: “Do not call things if they are of use in your personal campaign of revenge against people. Don't wait a decade after making millions with the #BoyzOutNow person. Well, only the cheesy Chileans #BoyzOutNow go live in an hour. Stop it, miss Gorl Flag of United Kingdom goes live on IG in an hour to get into sum thangz [sic] '. The dispute stems from a series of leaked messages from influencer NoHun in which Leigh-Anne allegedly accused Jesy of "blackfishing" with her new music video. Jesy was first accused of cultural appropriation three years ago when she wore braids in her hair in a photo posted on Instagram that was later deleted. She came under fire again after releasing the music video for her new single Boyz, a remake of Diddy's video Bad Boy For Life from 2001, which she sampled on her new track. In an interview with Vulture, Jesy responded to the claims, claiming that she was never targeted with "blackfishing" claims during her time in Little Mix and only faced such criticism after she left the girl band. “I am very aware that I am a white British woman; I never said it wasn't me, ”she said, defending herself against the allegations. “But I mean, I love black culture. I love black music. Jesy's Boyz collaborator Nicki advocated for Jesy during an Instagram livestream by saying, “Trying someone down is clown behavior. [...] Why didn't they say anything when [Jesy] was in the band. Suddenly [Jesy] is no longer in the band. Nicki continued, "Honey, take the damn text messages and shove them up your ass. Don't come out and ruin someone." Jesy, who had been silent during Nicki's tirade, laughed at this before the superbass singer added, “Only jealous people do that. I love you, but please don't do that. Nicki also said, "A lot of women get tanned, have bigger lips and mess on themselves" in reference to the blackfishing allegation. Jesy defended himself and said, “I just want to say personally that it was never the intention to offend people of color with this video - that's what I grew up with. Then she revealed that she didn't even have a fake tan in the music video released in conjunction with the new song. Jesy said she had a natural tan a few weeks before filming in Antigua, and she even claimed that Leigh-Anne once asked her if she was sure she wasn't multiracial because she was so light in the sun tanned. I wanted a wig for the video that was modeled on my hair. ' Nicki worked with Little Mix on the song Woman Like Me back in 2018, but that fact didn't play a big role in the conversation between the two on the livestream. The previous Monday, Leigh-Anne allegedly alleged that and her bandmates did not unfollow the star on Instagram, as widely reported, but instead was blocked by Jesy. A series of messages to NoHun saw that Leigh-Anne insisted that "nobody knows" when it comes to the fallout and that she was "raging." The leaked news revealed that Leigh-Anne responded to NoHun's poll and asked if he should create a dance routine for Jesy's debut solo single Boyz. Leigh-Anne seemed to answer and said 'no' which led to a shocked response from No Hun: 'Omg Leigh-Anne, I thought you were fine. Leigh-Anne then went on, "Instead, video that she is a Blackfish ... A second series of messages saw Leigh-Anne saying that" no one knows "when it comes to fallout and that she" raged ". Claims that Jesy blocked her bandmates on social media come after reports that Leigh-Anne, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall stopped following Jesy on social media the day after their first single Boyz with rappers Nicki Minaj and Diddy . In addition to the singer's personal accounts, Jesy also unfollowed an Instagram account for Perrie's dog Hatchi. However, the official Little Mix Instagram account still seems to be following Jesy. NoHun has since deleted the exchange from Instagram but shared a TikTok video accusing Leigh-Anne of asking him to do the band's "dirty work" with her requesting that they make a video about blackfishing. He said, “I don't think it would be appropriate for a member of Little Mix to message me after I posted a video dancing to the new Jesy Nelson song and saying I would do a video about it instead should make her a blackfish. "So you want me to create content that you know will incite hatred and bullying against someone who has spoken so openly and honestly and loudly about how trolling has affected their mental health?" Little Mix were put together at the X Factor in 2011 and had world fame with many of their hits - before Jesy suddenly left the band in December 202O, citing her mental health, before embarking on her solo career. Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne continued to perform as a trio as Little Mix. While Jesy opened up about the lack of contact she had had with the band since she left, the rest of the girls remained silent about her departure. Speaking to Glamor magazine, Jesy claimed, “I didn't speak to the girls. It's strange because we were together like sisters for so many years, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, only crying around the clock, the four of us together and then ... nothing. ' Jesy announced her departure from the group a year after filming a BBC documentary Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out, in which she revealed that she had attempted suicide after years of relentless trolling and abuse. In August, Leigh-Anne welcomed twins with her footballer friend Andre Gray, while five days later Perrie put her young son Axel on the street with her partner, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. When asked if she had seen the toddlers, Jesy said, “No. I sent a few text messages, but that's it. Jesy also stated that the pressure to be compared to "these three naturally beautiful, super little girls" is crippling. Jesy recently told Fearne Cotton's podcast on her Happy Place podcast about dealing with the other girls: “Being compared to three other girls every day was exhausting and I couldn't handle it anymore… I think a lot of people got it wrong what i meant by my statement, they say, oh, so now she's walking alone. I never said in my statement, I come from the music industry, I won't make music anymore ... 'I said, I'm just starting a new chapter in my life, I just want to make myself happy. I don't know what that will be, but I have to take care of myself now, to feel better again. '

Jesy Nelson of Loose Women's Charlene White branded "embarrassing"

While the rapper made a rant against 30-year-old Leigh-Anne on Monday evening, the broadcaster Charlene went to Twitter to vent her feelings (Author: Gardener)

Nicki Minaj has doubled her row with Leigh-Anne Pinnock - and accuses the fans of the star of having "bullied" Jesy Nelson. And while the "blackfishing" feud about Jesy (30) continues, Charlene White, 41 of Loose Women, has branded the former Little Mix singer as "embarrassing" via her latest livestream with Nicki, 38. While the rapper was making a rant against Leigh-Anne, 30, went to Twitter Monday night to vent her feelings. Rapper Nicki swiped Leigh-Anne during an Instagram live on Monday - after Leigh-Anne allegedly accused Jesy of "blackfishing" - a term used to describe a white person trying to have black heritage - in leaked news. On the livestream, Nicki accused the girl band star of trying to ruin Jesy's new solo career and branded the new mom and the rest of Little Mix as "jealous, wretched clowns". While watching the chat between Jesy and Nicki, Charlene tweeted, "* The * IG live is just ... Earlier in the day, the Loose Women host liked a tweet that said," I don't use blackfishing anymore because it's a imprecise hodgepodge ”and suggested that she prefers the term“ ethnic smear ”. After Nicki's comments made waves on social media - she doubled up on her remarks in a tweet on Tuesday - targeted Leigh-Anne's “messy” fans, accusing them of negatively impacting Jesy's mental health. Jesy has previously spoken openly about her mental health struggles and revealed in her 2019 BBC documentary Odd One Out that she attempted suicide after being subjected to vicious trolling. The livestream came amid allegations that Leigh-Anne had previously warned Jesy that she would be blackfish - with allegations that Leigh-Anne had told her not to darken her skin lest she offend black people. Leigh-Anne has both Barbadian and Jamaican roots, and reports from The Sun claim that she was outraged by Jesy's choice of hairstyles and the decision to wear layers of fake tan. A source told the publication: “Leigh-Anne had a conversation with Jesy trying to explain why she was upset and why it could be offensive. “If Jesy now claims that it has never been mentioned to her, that is really rude. Jordan is a firm believer in science as he supports the NBA's Covid stance

The issue of unvaccinated players across the league has dominated discussions leading up to the season opener, with Brooklyn Nets' Kyrie Irving being the most prominent player to opt out. (Author: Gardener)

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan said he was a "firm believer in science" and supported the National Basketball Association (NBA) stance on Covid-19 vaccinations ahead of the new season, which begins October 19. The issue of unvaccinated players across the league has dominated discussions leading up to the season opener, with Kyrie Irving, the guardian of the Brooklyn Nets, being the most famous player to have voted against the vaccination. The NBA does not require their players to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to play, but referees and other staff who have close contact with players must be fully vaccinated in order to continue their role. But the league - which said 95 percent of players had taken at least one vaccine - also ensured that unvaccinated players must adhere to a long list of restrictions in order to compete in games and participate in team activities like training. Six-time champion and hall of famer Jordan, who played 13 seasons with the Bulls and currently owns the Charlotte Hornets, said he was not concerned about the league's protocols. I'm absolutely in tune with the league, ”Jordan said on NBC's Today show on Monday. “I'm a firm believer in science and I will stick with it and hopefully everyone abides by the rules of the league. "I think we will be fine as soon as everyone goes shopping." The issue of player vaccinations has become increasingly tense in New York City and San Francisco as city mandates changed the landscape in August. Both cities announced that NBA players on home teams will need to be vaccinated or denied access to arenas, directly affecting the Knicks, Nets and Golden State Warriors. Entry to the Warriors' Chase Center requires a double vaccination, while Knicks and Nets players need at least one dose to be eligible. The Knicks organization announced that all players had been vaccinated, but Irving, who is on a four-year $ 136 million contract, continues to be a headache for the Nets front office. The NBA announced in September that unvaccinated players who do not adhere to local vaccination regulations - which only apply in New York City and San Francisco - will not be paid for the missed games. Irving is currently reviewing 41 home games at the Barclays Center as well as away games against the Toronto Raptors as Canada does not allow unvaccinated visitors into the country. If Irving doesn't change his vaccination stance and miss every home game, he will lose up to $ 15.6 million. "I think we know he doesn't play home games," Nets head coach Steve Nash told reporters on Sunday. “We will definitely have to play without him this year. Speaking remotely about vaccination problems on NBA Media Day, Irving told reporters, “I'm human first. Obviously living in this public sphere is just a lot of questions about what's going on in the world of Kyrie, and I think I'd just like to keep this private and deal with it properly, with my team and with the planning. ' In defense of Irving, his aunt Tyki told Rolling Stone, "There are so many other players outside of him who are signing out, I'd like to think they'd make a way." It could be like every third game. "If it's so damn important to get a vaccine that still won't prevent the covid - (which it does) - then I'd prefer them to work it out this way than say, "Hey, if you don't? to get the vaccine then you can't be part of the franchise you damn well built. " In March, Golden State Warriors striker Andrew Wiggins, who is set to earn more than $ 31 million in 2021-22, said he would not be vaccinated unless he was forced to. He then requested a religious exemption, but the NBA denied that request in September, and it was announced earlier this month that he had been taking the vaccine since then. After receiving the vaccine that allowed him to play games at the Warriors' Chase Center that required full vaccination, he said, "I feel like the only options [were] to get vaccinated or not playing in the NBA. "It feels good to play, but to be vaccinated will stay with me for a long time. The discourse about vaccinating players has permeated current players and owners as well as some of the greats of the game. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar last month urged teams to take a firm stance and remove unvaccinated players from their roster, as the six-time NBA champion responded to a scathing report in Rolling Stone of the anti-Vax stance of one Some of the players across the league have been detailed. Hall of Famer Abdul-Jabbar, 74, embarrassed players who "cannot grasp the gravity of the situation" and wants the league to be strict Penalties imposed that would result in their being kicked off a team. "The NBA should insist that all players and staff be vaccinated or removed from the team," Abdul-Jabbar told Rolling Stone. "There is no place for players willing to risk the health and life of their teammates, staff and fans just because they cannot grasp the gravity of the situation or do the necessary research." Washington Wizards franchise star Bradley Beal doesn't have a city mandate to get vaccinated, but he announced on NBA media day that he hadn't taken the chance to take the vaccine before asking why so many have done this. He said, "I don't think you can push someone to do things or put things into your body." Talking about missing the Tokyo Olympics, where Team USA won gold from a positive Covid test, Beal added, “I didn't get sick at all. Everyone will react differently. What if one of our players gets the vaccine and can't play afterwards? There is currently no evidence to support Beal's view that NBA professional players miss games because of a reaction to a Covid vaccine. "I understand that if you have COVID the vaccine would help, you will have fewer symptoms if you contract it," Isaac said last month. "Taking the vaccine, like I said, would reduce my chances of a severe reaction, but it does give me the rare chance, but the possibility, that I have a side effect on the vaccine itself." As early as March, NBA commissioner Adam Silver was optimistic that “most of the players” would accept the offer of a Covid vaccine. "I think as for those who have hesitated now that tens of millions of people in the United States have received the vaccine, at least in the short term, people will see and hear what the effects are." about how incredibly effective these vaccines are, ”he said. “My guess is that most players will ultimately choose to have a vaccination. But I have a feeling that most [players] will ultimately decide that it is in their best interest to get vaccinated. ' Unlike the referees 'union, the NBA players' union has not approved a mandatory vaccination before the 2021/22 season, which starts next week.

Boris Johnson "upsets Priti Patel over plans for harassment laws"

Home Office sources told the Guardian that there is tension between Boris Johnson and Priti Patel over how to tackle violence against women following the murder of Sarah Everard. (Author: Gardener)

Boris Johnson is believed to have "angered" Priti Patel by overriding attempts to turn public sexual harassment into a crime, as reported today. Sources from the senior Home Office suggest there is tension between the couple over how to better address violence against women following the murder of Sarah Everard. It has raised concerns within the Home Office that the prime minister is viewing the issue of public sexual harassment of women as mere "wolf whistling," according to the Guardian. It comes after the Prime Minister rejected calls to officially recognize misogyny as a hate crime. But the move is said to have caused "unrest" in the Interior Ministry. Meanwhile, on the issue of public sexual harassment of women, an anonymous source from the Home Office told the Guardian, “Trying to reduce it to wolf whistles is hugely problematic. The Home Secretary is planning a "succession blueprint" for Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick, and police chiefs across England appear to be rotating appointments rather than merit. The shock came amid reports that Ms. Patel had agreed to extend Dame Cressida's term only last month because there was no one qualified to replace her. But their plans also follow allegations of friction between the Home Secretary and the Met commissioner, who was urged to quit following the brutal murder of Ms. Everard by the service of Met officer Wayne Couzens in March. The Home Secretary asked Dame Cressida and her team privately if a police officer might be involved, but it was not told whether their suspicions were correct. A source close to Ms. Patel said: The prospect of a police officer in charge seemed likely because the Covid restrictions resulted in very few other people on the streets. The source said, "We asked the question." The Home Office is also upset that the Met chief announced a review of professional standards and the internal culture of the force last week, 24 hours before Ms. Patel announced a government inquiry Be determined to keep a "very close eye" on Dame Cressida as he examines the officers in the face of the murder of Ms. Everard. It comes after Mrs Patel launched a consultation on combating violence against women and girls. The petition is said to have attracted 180,000 contributors - most of whom were mailed after Ms. Everard was murdered in March. Many respondents said they were harassed on a daily basis, while a YouGov poll earlier this year found that more than half of women said they had been sexually molested on public transport in London. Earlier this week, the Prime Minister promised to make domestic violence and rape the "number one problem" he is addressing in the police force. He said the way the police and criminal justice system are currently handling violent crimes against women "just doesn't work." When asked if he believed misogyny should be a hate crime, Mr Johnson told BBC Breakfast, “I think we should prosecute people for the crimes we have in the law book. "What you have to do is get the police to focus on the very real crimes, the very real sense of injustice and betrayal that many people feel." Despite Mr Johnson's comments, Home Office officials are believed to be conducting a legal review to make public sexual harassment a crime in its own right, according to the Guardian. It is believed that such a law would cover all behaviors that could make women uncomfortable in any public space. The crime against women issue has been under close scrutiny since the kidnapping, rape and murder of Ms. Everard by police officer on duty Wayne Couzens. Couzens used his Metropolitan Police ID and handcuffs to kidnap the 33-year-old marketing director as she was walking home from a friend's house in Clapham. He was sentenced to life in prison earlier this month after admitting that he raped and killed Ms. Everard. Commissioner Cressida Dick was asked to resign because of the aftermath of the case, while Ms Patel came under pressure to fight violence against women. She is said to have supported a new emergency number that should help protect single women. The "Walk me home service" is being developed and could be ready by Christmas. Women could also use the mobile app - possibly with the number 888 - to call the police if they felt threatened. Ms. Patel approved the proposal presented earlier this week by BT, which has operated the 999 service for 84 years. In a letter to the Home Secretary, Chief Executive Philip Jansen said technology should be used to combat male violence. Ms. Patel said last night, “This new phone line is exactly the kind of innovative program that would be good to get started as soon as possible. A Home Office spokesman told MailOnline: “Our recently published strategy to combat violence against women and girls shows that there are a number of crimes that already capture street harassment. For this reason, through new means of combating violence against women and girls, we will deepen our understanding of who is committing these crimes, why they are doing it, and how that behavior can escalate. ' Wayne Couzens' molested drag queen in a bar near his home, saying, "I am an officer" when he demanded "I am an officer" three years before Sarah Everard was raped and murdered before he raped and murdered Sarah Everard He is reportedly being re-investigated for alleged sexual assault on a drag queen. Couzens, 48, reportedly molested a drag artist in 2018 when he was dressed up at the New Inn pub in Deal, Kent, before suggesting that he have sex. The performer alleged that Couzens told him he was a cop when he told the father of two to stop touching him, the Spiegel reported Life Without Parole after kidnapping, raping and murdering Sarah Everard on the way home Has. Couzens is known to have committed a naughty exposure when he was driving around naked from the waist down in his car while serving with them in 2015. He was also identified as responsible for the same crime at a McDonald's restaurant days before targeting Ms. Everard, 33, as she walked home from her friend's house in Clapham, south London. On March 3, he staged a fake Covid arrest, handcuffing Ms. Everard and putting her in his car before driving 80 miles to Kent, where he raped and murdered her. Couzens is now said to have been accused by a drag queen of molesting him while he was standing in a bar disguised and did not believe his claims would be taken seriously. But the alleged victim said he recognized Couzens "immediately" after seeing him on TV and telling his partner, "this is him". The drag artist allegedly said he went to the New Inn pub near Couzens house in Kent to watch a band when Couzens inappropriately touched his butt at the bar. The drag artist allegedly said he went to the New Inn Pub (pictured) which is near Couzens house in Kent to see a band when Couzens inappropriately touched his bum and I said, ' Oi, stop that. My partner is over there. ' He said, 'Do you know who I am?' and I said, 'Do you know who I am damned?' He claimed he gave Couzens his stage name, to which he replied that he was a cop, and the nameless drag queen again told him not to touch him. The performer claimed that Couzens then asked him to go around the back of the pub where it was "dark" to give him a "b *** job," whereupon the artist told him to "p *** off "and went back to his table and told his partner what supposedly happened. migrate away on their own after the alleged attack. Regarding Couzens' recognition, he said, “Can you imagine me walking down this alley? My partner said to me, "You could have been stabbed in the alley and left somewhere else." He reportedly made a formal declaration of victim on Tuesday naming the police officer Couzens as the suspected attacker. MailOnline has requested a comment from the Metropolitan Police.

After the breakdown of the move to AC Milan, USMNT's Robinson has no hope of transferring rumors

The defender is starting to develop as a player but is not too worried about his club's future (Author: Gardener)

S. Herren international Antonee Robinson says he is less worried about transfer rumors despite ties to the Premier League last summer. Robinson was linked to Wolves, Bordeaux, and even Manchester City last summer, and its inventory was only increased by a series of outstanding accomplishments for the USMNT. However, the Fulham defender says he is trying not to worry about career advancement after moving to Milan in January 2020 due to a heart problem identified by his doctor. "I'm personally connected to clubs, especially after the AC Milan thing, it's nice to see things like that, of course," said Robinson, "but I don't really get much out of it because I just want to keep doing the work I'm in my club. I don't get my hopes up or anything, so I'll work hard where I am and the rest will take care of itself another time. " Robinson has become a key player for the US. The Fulham defender is likely to start against Costa Rica on Thursday after being held back in the US. However, he admitted that he was struggling with a minor leg injury that could sideline him, but Robinson said he was optimistic. The defender added that he felt like he was just beginning to show himself off as a player as at the age of 24 he began to really grasp the tactical side of the game that wasn't always necessary for him as a younger player. "I feel like I started at Bolton at the beginning of my professional days and even when I switched to Wigan when I was at Wigan for the first time, many of the championship games, the mistakes in my game technically and tactically, They were pushed aside because of my physicality, "he said. “I could just pick up the ball at this stage of my life and walk past people in the championship, which made it easier, which made me a lot more comfortable.” It just evolved into more tactical awareness and fitting into a system where you actually are has a role, instead of at Wigan, I just felt like a big valve that could get the ball and push the team forward pretty much all the time, which didn't work for us early on. "USMNT boss Gregg Berhalter agreed with Robinsons Assessment and praised the 24-year-old defender or his development as a player. "I think this is a great example of the cooperation between the club and the country," said Berhalter, I think they played really good football under this coach [ Marco Silva] they have played really good football now, his learning has increased and he is able to handle it all but I agree with his assessment e.g. u start too, but that's also developing a player. Andy Murray has the chance to test himself against the formally strong Zverev

Murray bucked his recent trend against Carlos Alcaraz at Indian Wells, but Alexander Zverev presents a tougher challenge (Author: Gardener)

or much of the 2021 season, when Andy Murray was trying to gain momentum on his comeback from major hip replacement surgery, most of his encounters with quality players at ATP events followed a consistent trend. Murray would keep up well in the first set, not taking his chances before he lost, then his intensity would wear off as he suffered a defeat in two sets. Murray seemed to be heading in a familiar direction against Carlos Alcaraz at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Sunday night when he took a tight first set, lost numerous chances and besieged his serve early in the second when he faced four breakpoints - finally stopped thanks to an underarm ace. But this time, as the match got more physical and the points got longer, its intensity increased, he was able to impose his superior physicality on his 18-year-old opponent and kept the pressure on until he got one of his better wins in the last two years. The last time Murray won matches in a Masters 1000 event, his first event after the pandemic break, he defeated Alexander Zverev 6: 3, 3: 6, 7: 5 when Zverev struggled hard with his second serve would have. On Tuesday, in the third round of Indian Wells, the two face each other again. "In the match we played last year, I'm not saying that he was playing his best tennis at the time, but a couple of weeks later he made it to the US Open final," said Murray of her head-to-head Head 2-0. “I didn't feel particularly good physically and didn't play particularly well, but I was able to win. From that perspective, I can gain confidence [knowing] that if I play a really good game, I'll be in with a shot. But when I play a high-level match, I'm right there. ”While Murray should rightly focus on the positive aspects of his biggest ranking win since hip surgery, Zverev will be one of his toughest opponents for some time. Zverev, against whom the ATP determined, according to the ATP after allegations of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Olya Sharypova - whom he denies - has been one of the best-informed players since the summer. He began a winning streak of 16 games in July and August - in which he won Olympic gold - which only ended with a loss in five sets to Novak Djokovic in the US Open semifinals. Despite so many narrow two-set defeats this year and even at ATP level, Murray has made gradual progress over the past few months. He says he has been able to train consistently without any significant problems since the Olympic Games after months of constant setbacks. In the last few weeks he has beaten a number of players in places 25-100 in the world, with his two losses on tour level against number 12 in the world, Hubert Hurkacz, and number 10, Casper Ruud. In the women's draw, Leylah Fernandez faces Shelby Rogers for a quarterfinal spot after recovering from a set to beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. Fernandez continues with the momentum she built in her giant-killing run to the US Open final, where she lost to Emma Raducanu, and the Indian Wells crowd desperately want the 19-year-old pick up wherever she stopped in New York. Together with 17-year-old Coco Gauff, she reached the quarter-finals of the doubles with two victories in a row. "I feel like I'm a little more confident with myself, with my game, that I trust him a lot more than before," said Fernandez.

Bottles and branches pelted at Kelly machine gun after scare off angry festival crowd

Machine Gun Kelly is targeting haters at the Aftershock Festival this weekend and is dedicating the performance to the 10-year-old who "tore up her poster just because she liked me". (Author: Gardener)

Love him or hate him, Machine Gun Kelly has been dominating the headlines lately. Since MGK dissed Slipknot last month and then mingled online with frontman Corey Taylor, MGK has been getting seriously angry, not just from disgruntled Maggots, but metal fans and musicians everywhere. Last month, after his very public dissing from Slipknot at Riot Fest the week before, MGK was relentlessly booed by the audience at the Louder Than Life Festival in Kentucky and got into a physical altercation with a fan during the performance. At this weekend's Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, the anti-MGK sentiment continued as fans pelt bottles and branches at the pop-punk rocker pop-punk rocker. As the audience gathered around the stage and raised their middle fingers in the air for the musician to see, MGK stated that he would continue the performance for the fans who had turned up to support him. Sitting on a tent, the rap rocker opened up on how he felt about the event, admitting that the last festival crowd he'd played to (Louder Than Life) hadn't been thrilled to see him. I love you more than anything. However, MGK revealed that it was a young fan that motivated him to attend and perform at the event. "I sat there thinking about the last festival we did where this 10 year old tore up her poster just because she liked me," he said. For those who got out of the MGK vs. Metal loop, it all started when Slipknot leader Corey Taylor informally insulted the musician at Cutter's Rockcast in February, stating, "I mostly hate new rock a genre and chose rock - and I think he knows who he is. ”The bad feeling then skyrocketed when MGK Slipknot called a bunch of" 50 years old wearing a damn weird mask on a damn stage "during its Riot Fest set before he announced on Twitter that Taylor always insulted him when he was "bitter" about scrapping his guest appearance on MGK's latest album "Tickets To My Downfall". Shortly thereafter, Taylor went on the platform to show his side of the story and provided "receipts" in the form of a series of screenshots.
