"Every outdoor cat should get a little cowboy hat and a gun" (Author: Gardener)

this weekEach week at HuffPost, we scour Twitter to find the funniest posts about our furballs being complete fools. A neighbor put up a Lost Cat poster. I said to her, "I'm sorry to see that. I'll keep an eye out." She said, "I'll take her down." She had spent all day printing and hanging them. She had just finished the last one and turned around and her cat was there staring at her. Warner Bros. Discovery executives are expected to be unhappy with the language on AEW Dynamite

AEW welcomed several executives from Warner Bros. The show featured some wild twists and turns (Author: Gardener)

Warner Bros.AEW welcomed several executives from Warner Bros. Those same executives may not be thrilled with some of the show's content. As Tony Khan works towards a new TV deal for AEW, the promotion tried to look their best on the forums. Big matches were announced, like the upcoming Blood and Guts in Detroit and a hair-to-hair match between Chris Jericho and Ortiz. Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer pointed out that everyone at the show's after-party seemed happy. It has been speculated that the language will not exactly make some of them happy. Similar to other TV broadcast partners, the language might have been a bit much. "They [the Warner Bros. Discovery executives] had a big party after the show last night and everyone seemed happy, but I wonder how many of them will be like that, you know, just as an example, like TSN in Canada. Some of those swear words came through on live TV, and they're not going to be happy with that.” Anyone who watches cable TV a lot will notice that the language has matured across the board. It remains to be seen how Warner Bros. Discovery will feel about similar statements being used by AEW stars. AEW has certainly caused a stir among executives. A huge crowd reacted to everything Khan booked for the show. Time will tell if the company takes offense at the heavy use of swearing on AEW TV.

AEW Dynamite Results (6/1) - MJF speaks, The Forbidden Door Opens, Double or Nothing Fallout

Tonight's AEW Dynamite will host all episodes of AEW Double Or Nothing and MJF will address fans. (Author: Gardener)

AEW Dynamite ResultsMax Caster begins by claiming that they'll make his opponents pay like Amber Heard, while explaining that FTR has to ride CM Punk's coattails to get on the show. Dax Harwood then starts the match with Austin Gunn dropping the FTR star, but Harwood responds with a chop and a tag to his partner. They work together to bring Austin down quickly, but then Colten Gunn walks in, only to eat a big back body drop and then some hip toss. Caster is able to latch on, but that causes CM Punk to also interfere after Wheeler takes control of the arm and the World Champion falls off the top rope. Caster changes things up in the corner, but he then eats an elbow and then a crossbody. Wheeler comes back and nails a power slam off the top rope while Dax comes back in and gets a near fall. Austin quickly comes on, but Dax fights his way out of the corner, only for Austin to drop him by the ankle, heels regaining control. Billy Gunn then takes a cheap shot but Dax fights back by sending everyone out of the ring only to then let Colten in. Caster then sends Dax into the turnbuckles looking for a pinfall, but Harwood kicks out. The heels continue to make frequent tags, but Dax then hits Caser with a German suplex, followed by a double clothesline. Caster is up first looking for a sharpshooter but only fights his way out for Austin Gunn to get in but Harwood tags and Punk slips off the top rope. Despite this, he attacks both members of the Gunn Club and follows up with a roundhouse kick on Caster. He nails Austin with a knee and then he goes to the top rope and hits with a huge elbow drop! Billy then stands on the apron and tries to get in the ring, he DX poses and Austin rolls up but it doesn't work. Punk then powerbombs Austin sending him into Billy Gunn while then nailing a GTS straight into the Big Rig for the win. - After the match, Punk says he's never done drugs, but he guesses that's how it feels. He says he knows he needs to get better, that's what this title is about. Harwood then says the things that punk didn't do, he did, and that's how it feels. He says if you attack him and cash it doesn't sit well so he says if you're from a different company or the same company sorry finlay get your ass out of here and he'll beat it up. Punk says NJPW has some of the best wrestlers in the world, and he says he knows the Forbidden Door is over there... he wants to know who he has... Hiroshi Tanahashi then makes his presence felt! MJF appears and says he is in a lot of pain now after Sunday but people just want to hear him talk. He says it would be a real shame if something bad happened tonight as there are a lot of important people in the audience. MJF says Tony Khan has been meaning to sit down with him for a while but it's too little, too late. He says everyone at the start got a ticket, but he had to write his own. He has created moment after moment for this company but he still gets no respect and MJF claims that nobody is at his level as there is nothing he cannot do. MJF is expected to hit Grand Slams and does it weekly. He has to be perfect as he is kept under a microscope as he is the only guy capable of carrying the company. MJF tells the guys in the background they can have his place because he doesn't want to be here anymore. He tells fans they are uneducated brands that sit and tweet their opinions. MJF tells fans they don't know shit and their opinions suck and change on the fly. He says people claim they always knew he was a good wrestler, but that wasn't what they originally said. He's the best because he makes you feel, and unlike the others, he doesn't have to be silly to get fans there. He says it's not just the fans that take him for granted, it's the big man in the back. MJF asks Tony if he would treat him better if he was an ex-WWE guy, but he says the only position Tony should have is behind the guardrail. He doesn't want to wait until 2024, he tells Tony to fire him and calls him a freaking sign and then his mic gets cut and the entire stream gets cut off. Miro appears and says that he will redeem everyone and that good deeds will bring him back to heaven. He says his sand neck is tight but his heart is broken, he doesn't want to come home to his god, he wants to take his. Miro starts the match aggressively, attacking Elite in the corner while throwing him across the ring. He comes in with a pump kick but misses and Elite responds with a roundhouse kick of his own while he then starts elbowing his own hands into the corner and he follows it up with a springboard kick to Miro. Elite connects with the standing shooting star press, but Miro kicks out immediately. He attempts a move from the top rope but Miro avoids it, nailing a pump kick and locking in the game over submission. Jericho says what the fans deserve is the winners of Sunday's game, and they are. He says winning the match wasn't without a price as he lists some of the injuries and then points out that Kingston tried to light him. Then Eddie Kingston appears and says he's going to fight them right away, and then he tells William Regal to tell them where he wants to fight them... BLOOD AND GUTS. Jericho says he doesn't understand, and the faction then jumps on Kingston, but when he turns around, Ortiz has his socks with the snooker balls in them and nails him in the head with them, while he then cuts off some of Jericho's hair. That's enough to get the Blood & Guts match, as Jericho says they have... but he also wants something. He's going to shave Ortiz bald, he wants him in a hair-to-hair match. Jungle Boy defeats Bobby Fish early and brings in Christian Cage as the two team up with some double hip tosses. Matt Hardy is then brought in as he falls an elbow off the second rope, but Fish reverses the Twist Of Fate with a sharp kick. This allows Matt Jackson to get in, but he's tackled in the corner by Cage, who nails a swinging DDT. Cage then hits the classic move of standing on Matt's back and pulling the top rope, followed by a punch. Jungle Boy takes Fish to the ground when he tries to interfere and Christian dives in on Jackson who is broken up and all 10 wrestlers come in and brawl. Matt Jackson super kicks Cage and Nick jumps off the top rope to trip everyone on the outside. The Young Bucks superkick him after this, and he gets both men and drops them as Luchasaurus walks in and starts clearing the house for everyone in sight. He plans Nick Jackson and then Jungle Boy comes to Matt with a destroyer. The big man connects to a standing Shooting Star press, but Leo cuts it off, then tags in. The two big men then both look for a chokeslam but are then knocked out with a double clothesline. Allin interferes, charging back and forth on reDRagon in every corner. Leo is then sent outside and Allin tries to follow with a coffin drop but he catches it as reDRagon then hits a double team. In the ring, Matt begins his delete turnbuckle attack on four members of the Undisputed Elite. He tries Leo but he slams on the brakes only to miss with a corner splash and he is dropped with the Twist Of Fate. Cage then spears him off the apron, but O'Reilly sends him flying and the Bucks hit Matt and Luchasaurus with double superkicks. Jungle Boy is then caught with his own as Matt is dropped again with the high-low after trying to interfere and the Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver to victory. – After the match, Matt Jungle Boy tries to show his respect, but Cage pushes him away. Keith says if it is day that the gold came before and it will come again and they can dodge in their glory. She says Athena is an all-elite babe, and it's no surprise why she's here, the top competition. She says all streaks are there to be broken, and she's the one that breaks Jades, so she can say this or that, but she's the Fallen Goddess... but Cargill tells Tony to cut that shit. She appears and says she's that bitch as she introduces Stokely to Hathaway. He says it's a shame, and as her publicist, lets everyone know that Jade is a queen and a goddess. He knows Athena wants a title shot...but not today. JD Drake looks for a swipe to start, but he's instantly rocked by a giant lasso. - After the match, Mark Sterling is suing Wardlow over the security he beat up. Jamie Hayter distracts Toni Storm from the start, allowing Britt Baker to get off a few shots, but Toni reacts and this causes Britt to run off and show off her Owen Hart Cup title belt. Ruby is tagged in, but she gets a big boot from Hayter as Britt then sweeps the leg and hits her on the floor with a twisting neckbreaker. Back in the ring, Britt just stomps at Ruby and takes control with a stiff forearm. The action continues outside as Toni is planted on the ground as Soho falls down to Hayter, but she then eats a slingshot blade for her troubles. Toni slams Hayter to the ground to turn things around and Soho switches in looking for a foot stomp but misses and runs into a thrust kick. Hayter then drops it right over her back while Britt hits Ruby with a butterfly suplex. Soho can turn things around with a kick and lead the target Unknown to victory. - After the match, Hayter uses Britt's title to knock down both Ruby and Toni, leaving them down at the end of the night. The two men block and Daniel Garvia corners the Blackpool Combat Member and crushes his face, but Jon Moxley responds with a big shoulder tackle followed by some big chops. They then go back and forth with punches and then Garcia just pokes Jon in the face until he gets a slap in the face. Moxley then knocks his opponent down and repeatedly kicks him in the back, but he responds with a couple of headbutts until Garcia simply storms him out of the ring as Jon's injury from Sunday is exposed as he starts bleeding. Back in the ring, Garcia continues the attack on the leg, spinning it on the ropes while following it with a figure four. He reaches the ropes, but Garcia takes a while to let go of the hold, only for him to swallow an elbow punch. But Mox tries to climb to the top rope, which Garcia cuts away and then bites his head and the blood. Garcia then smacks Moxley to the mat off the top rope and he tries a sharpshooter, but Moxley measures the eye. The fight then continues outside the ring and Moxley finally throws Garcia in the air, spinning him around and slamming him onto the stairs. Back in the ring, Moxley takes his opponent to the top turnbuckle and he connects with a suplex and then he smacks him in the face with some elbows, but Garcia counters and hits some of his own. Moxley then turns things around again and then locks in the cross arm breaker which Garcia reverses into a submission of his own but Moxley gets to the ropes. Jon connects with a German suplex but he then eats one of Garcias who follows him with a piledriver that almost falls! Jericho then goes down to the ring to distract Jon, but Eddie Kingston comes down to even things out while Moxley nails a Paradigm Shift and then the Bulldog Choke for the win. - After the match, Jon Moxley says he signed up for Blood & Guts!

CM Punk's first title defense is announced alongside the Rampage map

AEW Dynamite: CM Punk's first title defense announced along with the Rampage card on last Wednesday night's show. (Author: Gardener)

RampageA trio match in Dynamite's opener where CM Punk, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated Max Caster and The Gunn Club (Austin and Colten Gunn). That's when Hiroshi Tanahashi came up from behind and indicated that he wanted a shot at punk and his Forbidden Door title. In the recent media scramble following the AEW Double or Nothing show, Punk named Tanahashi as one of his best dream opponents. Given that Forbidden Door will be a co-branded PPV, it makes sense for a top NJPW Superstar to challenge AEW's top champion with the title hanging in the balance. The AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view is scheduled for Sunday, June 26 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Aside from setting up the big matchup for the upcoming PPV, Dynamite also announced a stacked map for this week's Rampage. Reigning TNT champion Scorpio Sky will put his title on the line against Daunte Martin, who he confronted during last weekend's Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Sky believe Daunte is one of the most talented high achievers in AEW and it was he who wanted this singles matchup. Athena (former WWE NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon) will make her AEW in-ring debut at Rampage. She made a surprise appearance on Double or Nothing, targeting Jade Cargill and the TBS title. Athena will now take on one of Cargill's pals, Kiera Hogan, in her first in-ring outing in AEW. The two teams battled it out in a steel cage in a critically acclaimed matchup at the All Out for the AEW Tag Team Titles last September.

AEWAEW might have a problem with MJF. Either way, AEW is committed to moving this narrative forward. Click here for our full coverage of this week's AEW Dynamite. MJF came to the ring for this week's promo on AEW Dynamite and the AEW on TV Twitter account decided to post his promo. They sent a small animated GIF and a caption that read, "Look who's here on Dynamite." Oddly enough, about halfway through the MJF promo, everyone who pressed the buttons on the AEW on TV verified Twitter account deleted that tweet. It should also be noted that, as of this writing, AEW has not tweeted about MJF's segment or posted a video online of what he said. We'll have to see what comes next in this story, but it's certainly more interesting than most pro wrestling angles. What do you think of this story?
