With less than a week until WrestleMania, WWE traveled to Pittsburgh for a big WrestleMania Raw show. Brock Lesnar Addressed WrestleMania's Greatest Match Ever Against Roman Reigns In a very happy mood, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar opened WrestleMania Raw. Despite his colorful stories, The Beast made it clear that he couldn't wait to get his hands on Universal Champion Roman Reigns and that he would be standing over the toppled head of the table as the undisputed champion at the end of the biggest WrestleMania match of all time . When Logan Paul was introduced by The Miz as "The Greatest Luchador, Lucha Logan" and carried Rey Mysterio's stolen mask to the ring, both the Master of the 619 and his son took it very personally. Despite Dominick getting kicked out before the bell for attacking his opponents, Rey triumphed over The A-Lister with a quick pin out of nowhere. As a result, Dominik came up from behind and threw Paul in the ring. Count-Out's Viking Raiders Bobby Lashley returned to knock Omos off his feet. In another dominant show, undefeated Omos knocked out Erik with a nasty clothesline. As Omos continued to tout his excellence and claim he would dominate anyone, he was suddenly interrupted by "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley! The former WWE Champion knocked Omos to the canvas for the first time! In response, the enraged Superstar pointed to the WrestleMania sign, creating instant anticipation for a massive showdown at The Show of Shows. Roman Reigns pointed out that defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania was always personal Universal Champion Roman Reigns stepping before the WWE Universe to indicate that he had done everything in business except Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to beat. Nevertheless, he then made it clear that he changed the game on Lesnar in every respect and took almost everything from his opponent. He planned to fight the rest in WrestleMania's greatest match ever because it had always been personal for him. Before the WWE Women's Tag Team Title Fatal 4-Way Match at WrestleMania Sunday, all four teams went head-to-head in an intense eight-woman tag team match. Excited about his WrestleMania Sunday match against Pat McAfee, Austin Theory caught the gravity-defying Ricochet on the top rope and earned the ATL a major Championship Contender's Match win over the Intercontinental Champion. While Theory goes into the Show of Show with a huge win, The One and Only returns to WrestleMania SmackDown to attempt redemption in an Intercontinental Title Triple Threat match against Angel and Humberto. WWE's EST returned to the ring after suffering a fractured tongue at the hands of their WrestleMania Saturday opponent, Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch weeks ago, and appeared more determined than regaining the title. When Big Time Becks tried to attack her from behind with another steel cage, with the apparent purpose of chopping Belair's hair, Bianca turned the tables with a pair of earth-shattering K's. Despite the devilish Happy Corbin telling Madcap Moss he would teach the laugh cohort how it's done, he switched out of the action almost immediately and had Drew McIntyre ravage Moss with the Claymore Kick. Immediately after the bell, however, Corbin attacked The Scottish Warrior from behind, defeating End of Days and stealing his sword from Angela. While Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs keep a close eye on their WrestleMania opponents, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, Jimmy & Jey took on the Raw Tag Team Champions in an explosive champion vs. champion showdown RK bro at. The Street Profits soon emerged to make another statement en route to WrestleMania, ending the competition by disqualification when they attacked The Viper. As Jimmy & Jey and Nakamura & Boogs fought backstage on their way to Dallas, Orton and Riddle devastated Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford with two RKOs out of nowhere. Who will win the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the biggest stage of them all? You can watch WrestleMania 38 live on April 2nd and 3rd in the US on Peacock and elsewhere on the WWE Network.

RAW superstar cried when The Rock called him a future world champion

As previously mentioned, The Rock predicted last month that RAW superstar Montez Ford would be a future world champion. (Author: Gardener)

RockAs previously mentioned, The Rock predicted last month that RAW superstar Montez Ford would be a future world champion. The Rock made his prediction when responding to a clip of Ford talking about how much his childhood meant to The Great One. The Rock wrote on Instagram: "...If one day you become world champion, I'll be right there cheering for you. In a recent interview with The Bleav on the Pro Wrestling Podcast, Ford revealed that he cried a little while reading The Rock's comments on social media. “I can't put it into words [how much The Rock's words meant to me]. But I cried a little bit,” Ford said. 'Cause it was big, it was big for me, man. It's just cool to see your heroes recognize you and say, "Hey man, I see you man." And I appreciate that. I still do, to this day. Like I said, I've been through a lot in my life. And Rock was there in his own way, just being himself. Looking ahead to this weekend's WrestleMania 38, Ford said he and his WWE rostermates all encourage one another to create special moments. "We're basically like a bitter family," Ford said. "Like we all love each other, but we all still want to be champions and everyone still wants to be the best. And I think that's what makes the hunger and the competitiveness and everything so smooth and we create these special moments. 'Cause everybody just wants to do well and go out and just have bangers, man. When you have so many people around you who have that mentality, you have no choice but to go out there and create those moments. So it's cool man. It's cool." Ford and The Street Profits' Angelo Dawkins will face off against Alpha Academy and RK-Bro in a Triple Threat match for the RAW Tag Titles this Sunday at WrestleMania 38. In the meantime, it's expected that The Rock returns to the ring for WrestleMania 39. I have news Tip or correction?Send it to [email protected]Sign up for Wrestling Inc. Bianca Belair cuts Becky Lynch's hair, Lashley returns

WWE Raw results, grades: Bianca Belair cuts Becky Lynch's hair after a sneak attack, Vince McMahon gives Seth Rollins a WrestleMania match. (Author: Gardener)

Becky Lynch'sBianca Belair cut a lock of Becky Lynch's hair days before her Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 38. Tensions continued to flare for the longtime rivals as they prepared to fight for the title on Saturday night in Dallas, Texas and the WWE's EST was able to thwart a stealth attack on Monday's show. Bianca came out to address Lynch's recent actions as she made an impassioned promo in which she promised revenge on a champion who tried every trick in the book that weekend - even injuring her - to retain her title. The Man's music hit, but Big Time Becks didn't come down the ramp, but instead dove out from under the ring and attacked Belair from behind with a steel chair. Belair got the upper hand and cut off some of the champion's hair, causing her to seeth as she came to as the crowd sang brilliantly that she deserved it. The night started with Brock Lesnar coming down to the ring, soaking up the love of the crowd with a big smile on his face and joking around days before his big unification match with Universal Champion Roman Reigns on Sunday. Then the WWE Champ got serious and vowed to defeat the Tribal Chief at WrestleMania and go home with both titles. The Miz was joined by Logan Paul - who wore last week's stolen Rey Mysterio mask - as the A-lister emerged for his opening match with the legendary luchador. Dominik came down to support his dad but was ejected after attacking The Miz in front of the bell, allowing Rey to fight on alone (and claim the win) in a fun preview of this weekend's tag team match. After the bell, Rey and Dominik retrieved his mask and downed Miz with a double 619 and two frog splashes. Seth Freakin' Rollins visited Vince McMahon's office and found out he'll face an opponent of Vince's choice at WrestleMania - and the mystery man will be revealed tonight. Omos easily defeated The Viking Raiders in a handicap match when he hit a huge clothesline to Ivar over the top rope, resulting in the star being counted out. Omos shoved him in the face, but the All Mighty fired past with a huge running shoulder tackle to send him to the mat as he rolled out of the ring. The Bloodline made his way to the ring as Roman Reigns discussed his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar, playing up their story brilliantly and proving he's one of the absolute best in the game at this point. Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Sasha Banks and Naomi beat Carmella, Queen Zelina, Shayna Baszler and Natalya in a fun fight that previews this weekend's women's tag team title match while it's clear the women's division is down WrestleMania needs a creative refresh. After a video package hyping "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kevin Owens came out to cheer on their confrontation at WrestleMania and urged the Hall of Famers to pass the torch - and he promised a stunner in the legend's future, if trying any fun deals . Austin Theory defeated Intercontinental Champion Ricochet in a short match with some highlights in a showcase for Theory before taking on Pat McAfee this weekend. Considering the IC Champ isn't even on the WrestleMania card, that was another disappointing move. Drew McIntyre faced off against Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin in a handicap match, easily beating the former after Corbin left the ring, although he jumped back in afterwards and put his rival down, picked up his sword and left. A terrific main event saw tag team champions collide as The Usos took on RK-Bro in a match of brands, with Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs keeping an eye on Jimmy and Jey from ringside. The end came when Street Profits attacked Randy Orton and Riddle for the DQ, with Nakamura and Boogs jumping the Usos after the bell - but it was RK-Bro standing tall after they downed Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. Cody Rhodes speaks and 5 surefire predictions for WWE's Post-WrestleMania 38 Raw

All eyes are on WWE WrestleMania 38 this weekend - and understandably so, as it's billed as the "most amazing" part ever - but there should be an equal... (Author: Gardener)

WWEAll eyes are on WWE WrestleMania 38 this weekend — and understandably so, given that it's billed as the "most amazing" part ever — but there should be just as much buzz around next Monday night's annual post-WrestleMania Raw. It has traditionally served as a kind of "reset" show for WWE, where the new year begins and the deck is reshuffled, be it the Superstars, the storylines, or something else entirely. In the past, fans have considered it one of the most exciting editions of Raw all year, although for a while that wasn't the case. The much-anticipated post-WrestleMania Raw suffered in 2020 and 2021 due to a lack of fans for reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the electric atmosphere and crowd have always been the best part of it. Without her, the show isn't remotely the same. The night after WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar made his shock return to WWE in 2012 and Paige made his debut and won the Divas Championship in an impromptu match in 2014. If you want to go back a little further, you can also point to Goldberg's WWE arrival in 2003 and Ric Flair's retirement in 2008 as examples of the episode being historically significant. WWE needs to restore some of that lost glory with a strong show this year, regardless of what happens at WrestleMania. Luckily, there are some things that could realistically happen that could set the stage for an exciting spring season. These are the debuts and moments to expect next week after WrestleMania Raw. Cody Rhodes explains his arrival in the WWE Universe For better or for worse, Cody Rhodes has always managed to shake up audiences with his polarizing promos during his time in AEW. So it would only be fitting if he came to Raw on the exact same formula.'s Mike Johnson confirmed two weeks ago that Rhodes is indeed on his way back to the company and that it's just a matter of WWE's decision to pull the trigger. Although Seth Rollins has hinted that his role at WrestleMania 38 will be revealed on Raw tonight, we're close enough to The Show of Shows that it's premature to spoil the surprise at this point. A spontaneous match with Rollins and Rhodes would make sense considering a spot on the 'Mania map is what Rollins wanted all along. Another possibility is that Rhodes just shows up, leaving Rollins staring at the lights, but either way, his first promo should be saved for next Monday's Raw to return to his former home of WWE. There will also be interest if he mentions anything about AEW, so it's definitely a must-watch segment. Rhodes' return to WWE at WrestleMania will be a top story from WrestleMania, so the show building around his first promo since signing on the dotted line should be a focus of the program. Between the many losses they've suffered and the tension they've raised, writing for Carmella and Queen Zelina has been on the wall for several weeks and the post-WrestleMania Raw breakup was supposed to happen. WWE hasn't quite figured out how to book their women's tag team division in the past three years, which is why we end up with shows with the lazily booked multi-team tag matches like WrestleMania. Carmella and Zelina are actually the most unlikely duo to emerge victorious given the level of competition. The biggest point of contention between the two was that Carmella was constantly flirting with her future husband, Corey Graves, ringside. That might not be more than WWE looking to promote Corey and Carmella's new reality show, but the idea of them becoming an on-air couple is compelling. For this, however, Carmella and Zelina have to separate. Assuming Bianca Belair wins the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania, she needs credible competition, and Carmella and Zelina can both be built outside of the tag team ranks. In other words, wait for these two's paths to turn without a parting face. A New Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Is Revealed Both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns hinted at the possibility that their upcoming WrestleMania match early in 2022 could become title after title, but it only became official after Lesnar won the Men's Royal Rumble and later the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber. Their Main Event fight will now indeed be for both the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship. It's billed as a unification of titles, meaning only one undisputed champion will emerge from WrestleMania. Fans will not be fully convinced that WWE intends to hold on to a World Championship until a single belt is introduced, at which point reality will begin to settle. While these things take time, post-WrestleMania Raw would be an appropriate night to unveil such an award. Mania, but an updated design is required to mark the beginning of a new era. Debuting it during a coronation for the undisputed champion - whoever it may be - would be ideal. It should also state what brand it will be assigned to or whether the reigning title holder will take on a double duty between Raw and SmackDown to move forward to clear up any confusion. After months of vignettes suggesting he's coming to Raw, Veer Mahaan will finally arrive on the red mark next Monday — at least as of now. Plans change on a whim so often in WWE that it's entirely possible that they'll even delay its debut further, or forget that episode was even promoted in the first place. A strong display could do a lot to establish him as a force to be reckoned with on Monday nights. WWE booking him against an enhancement talent in a basic squash is arguably how he'll be used on his first night, but if he's going to make an immediate impact and make a lasting impression, the former Pittsburgh pirate needs a top -Target talent like Finn Balor or Rey Mysterio. Tommaso Ciampa officially debuts as a member of the Raw roster However, it's worth noting that only two stars of NXT actually had matches with the red brand in 2022: Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. Breakker will challenge Dolph Ziggler for the NXT Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver this Saturday, all signs point to his regaining the gold. That leaves Ciampa as the most likely NXT star to move to Monday, especially since he hinted in a promo two weeks ago that his upcoming encounter with Tony D'Angelo will serve as his NXT swan song. Needless to say, Ciampa has done everything in NXT, including winning the NXT title for the second time last year. He's helped highlight a lot of fresh faces but it's about time he showed what he can do on the main roster provided he's willing to travel. Raw is the most likely landing spot for him, considering Raw audiences already know him from the few appearances he's made on the show this year.

Will Cody Rhodes be in Pittsburgh before WrestleMania on Raw?

All rumors point to Cody Rhodes being 38 at WrestleMania and already signed with WWE, but will he be at the pre-PPV Raw in Pittsburgh? WWE WrestleMania 38 will be held live on Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 3rd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. While there are many h... (Author: Gardener)

WrestleManiaAll rumors point to Cody Rhodes being 38 at WrestleMania and already signed with WWE, but will he be at the pre-PPV Raw in Pittsburgh? WWE WrestleMania 38 will be held live on Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 3rd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. With many big matches scheduled for the show, WWE and wrestling fans at large are wondering what's new with Cody Rhodes. From there it was reported that Rhodes' return to WWE would be in the near future. The question is, will he debut on the final episode of Monday Night Raw on March 28th? According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Rhodes is "not internally scripted as it appears" on Raw in Pittsburgh, Penn. However, Fightful said they learned Rhodes was scheduled to fly to Cincinnati, northern Kentucky, about a five-hour drive from Raw's location on Monday. Rhodes has been linked with a match with Seth Rollins for his return to the "Grandest Stage of Them All". For the past month, Rollins has been desperately trying to find a way onto the WrestleMania 38 card. When the latter happened on March 21, Rollins destroyed the ring area and threatened that Raw on March 28 would not go ahead if he didn't have a match at WrestleMania. Well, Rollins revealed in a screenshot that Vince McMahon "texted" him over the weekend asking him to come to his office for a meeting on Monday morning. WWE filmed the segment where Rollins showed up at WWE HQ, with McMahon revealing all he had to do was ask for a match at WrestleMania and he would get one. Rollins was excited but asked who his opponent would be. McMahon said he will personally pick his opponent and he will find out at WrestleMania. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer tweeted that Rhodes' appearance at WrestleMania would be considered a "surprise" until Rollins was in the ring. WWE officially announced that Rollins' match with a "mystery opponent" is scheduled for the show on Saturday, April 2nd. Based on the segment, Fightful Select's report and Meltzer's tweet, Rhodes will not appear on the March 28 episode of Raw. In all likelihood, he will appear at WrestleMania to celebrate his return, much like Matt and Jeff Hardy did at WrestleMania 33 in 2017.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar deliver pre-WrestleMania messages

Lesnar and Reigns both took to the mic to promise success in their title vs. title match at WrestleMania (Author: Gardener)

Roman ReignsLess than a week before WrestleMania, WWE landed in Pittsburgh Monday night for the go-home edition of Raw. Both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were present prior to their title-vs-title WrestleMania main event, but neither man delivered more than one promo. As expected, Lesnar and Reigns both vowed to win their match to become the unified champion. However, Lesnar did not attempt to hunt down Reigns as he had on so many recent editions of SmackDown. Instead, he simply sent a message to Reigns that he would be the man to leave Dallas as a double champion on Sunday night. Brock Lesnar opened the show with an in-ring promo in full babyface mode. Lesnar performed in front of the crowd before telling Roman Reigns that their two belts at WrestleMania, the unified championship, would get married and have a baby. Lesnar made it clear that he would leave WrestleMania with "sole custody" of the title. Reigns would show up for his own promo later that night. Reigns said he did everything there is to do in wrestling except beat Lesnar at WrestleMania. He pointed out that Lesnar had beaten him at WrestleMania in 2018, causing him to bleed so profusely that his family could no longer recognize him. Reigns responded by doing everything Lesnar had done but making it even better by breaking his record for longest run as Universal Champion and bleeding it at the recent live event at Madison Square Garden. If Lesnar thinks this is a game, Reigns said he would just take Lesnar's title and show him it's personal. Most of Raw felt like they were treading water to get to WrestleMania. The Lesnar and Reigns promos were probably the best examples of this. That's to be expected, given that it's normal to keep your major main eventers to limit their touch frequency before WrestleMania, but somewhat at odds with Lesnar's determination to get his hands on Reigns on virtually every new episode of SmackDown receive. * Defeated Rey Mysterio. The match came after a promo cut by Miz while Logan Paul wore the mask the duo stole from Mysterio last week. Even though Dominick Mysterio was thrown off the ring for attacking Miz and Paul, Rey was still able to win. * Vince McMahon gave Seth Rollins a spot at WrestleMania. Rollins visited McMahon in his office at WWE headquarters and was told that the event couldn't be great if he was left out. McMahon declined to tell Rollins who he was up against and that he would only find out in the ring at WrestleMania. * Omos def. Omos downed Eric with a clothesline and sent him out of the ring for the count before kicking Ivar in the face after the match. * Bobby Lashley returned to Raw and confronted Omos. When Omos was asked if he saw anyone in the dressing room as a threat, Lashley returned. Lashley was initially mauled before eventually dropping Omos with a shoulder block. An angry Omos gestured at the WrestleMania sign, a gesture Lashley returned. * Defeated Sasha Banks, Naomi, Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley. The heels had won the match when they started arguing over who would get the final pin, resulting in the faces taking Zelina for the finish. * Austin theory def. * Bianca Belair cut several strands of Becky Lynch's hair after Lynch tried to attack Belair during a promo. * Drew McIntyre defeated. Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss via pinfall in a handicap match. Corbin jumped on McIntyre after the match and then stole McIntyre's sword. * A pre-taped Edge promo was aired in which he explained his motivation for attacking AJ Styles last week and the effective "decision" to face Styles instead of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. Styles responded to the promo by saying that Edge got into his head, but only because he couldn't stop thinking about getting revenge. * RK-Bro def. The main event ended with the interference resulting in Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura attacking the Usos as well. RK-Bro ended the night standing, scooping the profits with multiple RKOs before celebrating together to wrap up the final pre-WrestleMania edition of Raw.

Welcome to the Bleacher Report coverage and recap of WWE Raw on March 28th. This is the last episode before Sunday's pay-per-view, so WWE dubbed this episode WrestleMania Raw... (Author: Gardener)

March 28thThis is the final episode before Sunday's pay-per-view, so WWE has dubbed this episode WrestleMania Raw. To spice up the weekend's celebrations, several Superstars made their way from SmackDown to Raw to make the show feel as big as possible. The Usos faced RK-Bro in a non-title bout of tag team champions, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns appeared, an eight-woman tag match was held with all four women's tag teams participating, The Street Profits faced Alpha Academy and The Miz faced Rey Mysterio. We also heard back from Seth Rollins as he attempted to somehow secure a spot on the WrestleMania 38 card. Let's take a look at everything that happened in WrestleMania Week Edition of WWE Raw. Raw opened with Lesnar stepping out in his now-signature cowboy hat to a warm welcome from the WWE Universe. He greeted everyone on Raw and discussed his upcoming match with Reigns at WrestleMania. He joked a bit before getting serious, claiming he was leaving Dallas with WWE and the Universal Championships. The beast looked like he was enjoying himself, especially when he was joking and having fun with the audience. This wasn't what you would call a proper go-home segment for WrestleMania's main event, but it was a solid promo nonetheless. Just because it's the week of WrestleMania doesn't mean you need spokespersons for both brands, especially if you're not taking Pat McAfee with you. The way Lesnar cut into the "What" chants and then got the crowd to stop when he wanted it was quite impressive. Lesnar's voice cracked a bit right at the end of his promo, but nobody's going to joke that he's going through puberty. Before The Miz and Mysterio had their match, The A-lister Logan brought out Paul in the mask he stole from Rey last week. As expected, Dominik accompanied his father to the ring for this match. Dom attacks The Miz and knocks him out while Rey talks some trash with Paul. The referee threw Dom out, but Paul was allowed to stay. Rey got the upper hand early, but a distraction from Paul allowed The Miz to hit a ringside DDT. Shortly after we came back from the break, Rey scored the win with a sunset flip. Most of the action wasn't just limited to the break, but Rey won in a very anticlimactic way. At least Rey Paul stole his mask after the match. Rey and Dom timed the double 619 well, hitting at exactly the same time. WWE partially reignited a feud from last year when Omos faced Erik and Ivar in a handicap match. When Omos was still working with AJ Styles, they fought The Viking Raiders several times. Ivar tried to get in the ring but was knocked to the ground by the apron. If they were planning to let Omos win this way, it would have had to be two local talents. That just makes The Viking Raiders look weak. Bobby Lashley came out to confront Omos after the giant gave a brief promo about how no one was up to the challenge to take on him. An enraged Lashley knocked him out with a running shoulder tackle to send him out of the ring. Before this match happened, we got a video of Vince McMahon telling Seth Rollins he had a mystery opponent at WrestleMania. WWE is really stretching this Cody Rhodes reveal as much as possible. The match was nothing, but the tease for Omos vs. Lashley at WrestleMania was well done. For a moment it looked like Erik had indeed been injured but the referee and Ivar acted like everything was fine so it must have been part of the plan. Baszler, Natalya Carmella and Zelina We got a backstage segment where Reggie tried to propose to Dana Brooke but Tamina attacked her to call it quits for the moment. It looks like a double wedding is in our future. Back in the arena, Reigns, Paul Heyman and The Usos made their way to respond to what Lesnar had to say earlier in the show. He didn't seem to be in as good a mood as Lesnar. We also have a backstage snippet with Carmella and Zelina taking part in a photo shoot. Natalya and Baszler showed up to talk about trash. This led to the eight-woman tag team match, which added Naomi, Sasha Banks, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. After a half-entertaining back-and-forth, Ripley scored the win for her team. While we didn't really get to see everyone having a moment to themselves, this wasn't as much of a mess as it could have been. The thing about Tamina attacking Brooke and then accepting Tozawa's proposal was deservedly funny. R-Truth watched from 10 feet away with binoculars as it all went down. That was the icing on the cake. Reigns' promo was decent, but it didn't do anything new to build its match with Lesnar. Baszler, who took Naomi off a stretch muffler submission and held her up for Natalya to hit the Hart Attack, was impressive. Kevin Owens came to the ring to deliver a promo on his upcoming talk show segment with Steve Austin. In the next match, Ricochet fought Austin Theory, but the Intercontinental Championship was not at stake. This was simply an exhibition before Theory takes on Pat McAfee this weekend. The theory was easily deflected as the crowd chanted to McAfee, allowing Ricochet to take control. Theory was able to turn the tables and hit his finisher for the win. This match was short but had some decent spots. Problem is, WWE just booked the IC Champion to lose cleanly to a guy he's not even feuding with right now. Ricochet not only has no place at WrestleMania, he's putting in a guy who does. KO single-handedly built his KO show with Austin into a segment people are actually looking forward to. Ricochet nonchalantly hitting a standing shooting star press is one of the most impressive things you will see all day. Becky Lynch attacked Bianca Belair during a promo and tried to cut her braid off, but The EST was able to stop her and instead cut off quite a bit of Big Time Beck's hair. In the second handicap match of the night, Drew McIntyre took on Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin. After beating up Moss, the Scottish warrior threw him to Corbin for the day. Corbin decided to leave instead, so McIntyre easily defeated Moss with a claymore kick. Corbin came back after the match and attacked McIntyre until he was dead in the middle of the ring. He took McIntyre's sword before leaving. Becky's hair still looked good for the most part. She probably needs to make up for it a bit, but Belair didn't do too much damage. If McIntyre has a singles match with Corbin this weekend, why is he facing Corbin and Madcap on Raw? Shouldn't it be the other way around? And why is Corbin scared of McIntyre just between the bells, but when the match is over can he take out the former WWE Champion with no problem? It might have been a sneak attack, but that just means McIntyre is stupid for not seeing this coming after everything he's been through with them.

WrestleMania 38 Go Home Show

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar appear in a special WrestleMania Raw edition of the show. (Author: Gardener)

WrestleManiaThe final Raw before this weekend's WrestleMania 38 takes place tonight at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There will also be an eight-woman tag match pitting tag champions Queen Zelina & Carmella alongside Natalya & Shayna Baszler against Sasha Banks, Naomi, Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan. Michael Cole is at the commentary table, so we have a four-man dressing room tonight. Brock Lesnar stepped in to start the show. Lesnar was all smiles and welcomed everyone to Raw. He admitted that having to say that line kind of sucked. Lesnar spoiled his plan for WrestleMania. Lesnar said their journey would end with a marriage between WWE and Universal Championships and he would have sole custody. Lesnar exclaimed that he was leaving WrestleMania as the unified champion. The crowd cheered as Lesnar said he would unify the titles. The Miz entered and the announcers ran down today's card. Miz introduced "Lucha Logan" and Logan Paul entered with the mask Miz stole from Rey Mysterio. Miz complained about not getting respect so he planned to take him. He also planned to take Mysterio's mask tonight so he and Paul could both wear one at Mania. Dominik attacked Miz. He also went after Paul, but the referee stopped him and threw him off the ring for the upcoming match. Rey quickly won with a roll up. Dominik ran back out and pushed Paul onto the middle rope. The Mysterios tried a double 619, but he escaped. Rey managed to take his mask back. They aired a clip of John Cena winning his first world title against JBL at WrestleMania 21. There was a video package of Seth Rollins' failure to secure a seat at WrestleMania. They even added clips of Paul, Johnny Knoxville and Pat McAfee claiming their spots. They aired video of Seth Rollins meeting Vince McMahon at WWE Headquarters. Rollins showed up at 6:57 for some reason, even though Vince had asked him to meet at 9:00. Vince was surprised that Rollins couldn't get his way at Mania and Rollins blamed everyone but himself. Vince said he should have just asked him first. Vince (eventually) informed Rollins that he was going to WrestleMania against an opponent of his choice and he would find out who that was when he was in the ring that night. After Omos clotheslined Erick, Erik rolled out of the ring and couldn't make it back to the ten, though Ivar tried to help. After the match, Omos dropped Ivar with a kick and he also played dead. Kevin Patrick asked Omos who he would like to face next. Before he could say much, Bobby Lashley (in his gear) entered. Lashley looked at The Sign and Omos shoved him. Lashley fought back and Omos briefly defeated him until Lashley knocked him down with a running shoulder tackle. The crowd sang for Lashley. The announcers claimed that this is the first time Omos has been lifted from his legs. Reggie wanted to say something to Dana Brooke but claimed they never had the time. Reggie got on one knee and said they didn't have to wait until Mania to have their moment. Brooke said he didn't have to do that now. Reggie pulled out a diamond ring and Brooke said yes. Before they could hug, Brooke was attacked by Tamina. Tamina tried to pin Brooke but Reggie pulled her away and they escaped. It seemed like she was going to hit him, but she smiled and said yes. Tozawa gave her the ring and they left together. Reigns entered with Paul Heyman and the Usos. Cole said Reigns has not been pinned or submitted since December 2019 and this weekend would mark his sixth time in WrestleMania's main event. Reigns said he ran Monday Night Raw until FOX begged him to save Smackdown. The crowd gave him the "what" treatment, so Reigns threatened to smash them like he would smash Steve Austin. Reigns said he did everything but beat Lesnar at WrestleMania and that pissed him off. The crowd chanted "Suplex City." Reigns recalled being busted by Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Reigns got his receipt by drawing Lesnar's blood at Madison Square Garden. His final step would be to take Lesnar's title. Queen Zelina and Carmella did a photoshoot with their title belts on as they talked about what they did last week. Baszler and Natalya advised them to follow suit tonight before claiming their titles at Mania. There was a big video package from Steve Austin that was set to Kid Rock's Bawitdaba. Owens called the video an incredible tribute and said that nobody made these videos better than the angels on the WWE production truck. However, nothing compared to his Austin tribute last week. People accused him of mocking Austin, but he wasn't. (The crowd yelled "What" and Owens did a great job incorporating it into his promo.) Owens again mentioned that the KO show would be the main event of WrestleMania on Saturday. Owens said his performance last week was the closest thing to old Stone Cold. Austin was gone 19 years and he never came back. On Saturday it won't be Stone Cold, but "Steve". The same Steve who's been drinking himself into oblivion for 19 years, desperately inviting people into his range to talk about the good ol' days on his podcast. Owens said Austin looked and sounded like old Stone Cold, but he wouldn't pick a fight with him because he couldn't. Owens was happy to give Austin a well-deserved send-off from the KO show. Owens admitted he hated beer but was willing to have one with Austin. You could toast as Austin passes the torch to the new Stone Cold, the true master of the stunner. "Owens 3:16 says my stunner is better than yours." Owens warned Austin that if he tried to make fun of him, he would have a stunner with Steve's name on it. "And that's the bottom line, because KO said so." Omos was officially made for Mania. Ricochet will defend the IC title on Smackdown against Angel and Humberto in a triple threat. The crowd in Pittsburgh chanted "We want Pat" (McAfee is local). Bianca Belair said her existence threatened Becky Lynch and that's why she acted the way she did. That's why Lynch attacked her and she insults her week after week. Belair congratulated Lynch on dating her for a week, but now she was back and felt like she had never been away. Everything Lynch has tried to stop her has failed and she is left with nothing. Belair came on for Lynch on Saturday. Lynch's music hit and she tried to attack from behind, but Belair saw it coming. Lynch attacked her with a steel chair. Lynch pulled out a large pair of scissors and grabbed Belair's braid as officers ran to the ring. Officials jumped in the ring and begged Belair to stop (which is more than they did for AJ Styles when Edge attacked him). Belair eventually stopped and left while holding pieces of Lynch's hair. Lynch got up and freaked out when she saw her hair clips on the mat. The crowd chanted, "You deserve it." The announcers ran over the WrestleMania crowd.

Mission accomplished for Tim Tszyu; plus, sinking of Miguel Berchelt

Good, bad, worse: For Tim Tszyu it was mission accomplished on Saturday against Terrell Gausha. (Author: Gardener)

Tim TszyuTim Tszyu did what he set out to do in his unanimous win over Terrell Gausha on Saturday, which should prove he's among the best 154-pounders in the world. He got careless on the first lap when he came off a straight right. He took a lot of hard shots overall. And his job might have been easier if he worked more from behind his jab, which didn't matter in the fight. Despite the incoming fire, he fiercely and effectively imposed his will on Gausha, which allowed him to control the battle and undoubtedly attract the attention of potential opponents. And he didn't doubt himself for a moment, even though it was the first time he was fighting outside his homeland. He's a special fighter and he knows it. I don't know how he would fare against Jermell Charlo, a more complete and powerful fighter than Gausha. However, I firmly believe that Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) has a combination of skill, strength and determination that would provide a challenge to any of the above. At the same time, I believe he could become the most successful son of a great fighter in the history of the sport. It will be fascinating to see how this story ends. Gausha (22-3-1, 11 KOs) is a good fighter, as he proved again on Saturday. S. Olympian put Tszyu down, survived some of his own harrowing moments and kept fighting until the bell ended the 12th and final round. As he said, "I hate to lose, but I came out like a champion." Gausha is 2-3-1 in his last six bouts, including clear unanimous losses to Erislandy Lara, Erickson Lubin and Tszyu, and a draw to Austin Trout. He is 34 years old, an age when things usually start to calm down. However, the spirit with which he fought Tszyu probably gives him hope that he's not quite done as a relevant fighter. He was too passive for most of the fight. And he spent too much time banging his back against the ropes, which was the result of Tszyu's constant pressure. However, he never stopped trying, never stopped looking for ways to hurt Tszyu, even when he was taking punches. You'll probably want to see him again in an important fight. As Tszyu said immediately after the fight, “All kudos to my opponent, Terrell Gausha. He's a damn fine warrior.” Miguel Berchelt insisted he'd be back after his second straight KO loss. That's hard to imagine. Two fights ago, the 30-year-old Mexican was world champion and one of the most feared punchers in the sport. He's been knocked out twice since then, first by Oscar Valdez, who lost his belt, and then by Jeremiah Nakathila in his comeback bout on Saturday. In the latter fight, he looked like a deer in the headlights, not like a former champion who has been fighting professionally for more than a decade. He appeared to be what one of the broadcasters described as "gun-shy," meaning memories of the brutal 10th-round KO loss to Valdez danced cruelly in his mind. He was more concerned about avoiding a similar fate than doing what it would have taken to win the fight. That's a recipe for the disaster that unfolded when he was struck. I wondered as I watched in amazement for the first few rounds if Berchelt would find his inner warrior and start throwing Nakathila back. He showed signs of this in rounds 4 and 5 when he had his biggest hit. That led to a crucial Round 6 in which Nakathila (23-2, 19 KOs) landed at will and convinced the ringside doctor that Berchelt had received enough punishment. Again, Berchelt (38-3, 34 KOs) said he will defeat any demons that haunt him. It will take superhuman inner strength to regain what he had before he fought Valdez. Josh Warrington demonstrated the correct way to come out of a rut on Saturday in his hometown of Leeds, England. He had been stopped and fought a draw in his two previous bouts with Mauricio Lara, putting his career as a top fighter in jeopardy. The fight was stopped at 2:12 of round 7, giving Warrington (31-1-1, 8 KOs) a two-time world title and allowing him to regain much of what he lost to Lara. ... Lightweight contender Michel Rivera (23-0, 14 KOs) stabbed his way to a lopsided decision over Joseph Adorno (14-1-2, 12 KOs) on the Tszyu-Gausha card, underscoring his reputation as a fine, polished boxer. The Dominican needs to perform more power punches - ideally in combination - to be successful against next level opponents. ... Elvis Rodriguez (13-1-1, 12 KOs) looked like a legitimate junior welterweight contender on the Tszyu-Gausha card, then beat and stopped Juan Velasco (23-3, 14 KOs) in the seventh round. The A. Dominican has now won two fights since upsetting Kenneth Sims Jr. in May last year. ... The judges scored the Tszyu-Gausha fight 116-111 (nine rounds to three), 115-112 (eight rounds to four), and 114-113 (seven rounds to five). I had it 117-110 for Tszyu, 10 rounds of twos. Gausha put on a brave performance but didn't win five rounds. Tszyu clearly controlled the fight from the second round, throwing and landing a lot more punches than Gausha.

Kim Wolfe beat a group of shipwrecked islanders on Survivor: One World in 2012 and won $1 million. The couple then repaired three more houses to live in and sell them. Wolfe sold her bridal business to focus fully on interior design and home renovations and opened her own business, Kim Wolfe Home, in 2018. That career change brought her back to television in the new HGTV series Why the Heck Did I Buy This, House?, where she gets her hands dirty and proves her skills, this time against the regrets of the homebuyer. The series debuts March 30 at 8 p.m. On Women's Pinball Club, Belles & Chimes, Boys' Club Fight With Every Flap of a Bumper In San Antonio, the city that has called Wolfe his home for 15 years, the show follows the self-taught San Antonio designer and renovator, while helping frustrated homeowners fall in love again with the homes they hate. Wolfe noted that home buyers can get swept up in a standout feature like a lush yard or an updated kitchen and then regret their purchase if they feel stuck with a rickety floor plan, outdated furnishings, or other quirks they live with might or might not I don't see it coming. Then Wolfe rushes in like a fairy godmother with an iPad and a nail gun. Then she copes with her post-purchase problems with renovations that give them a new home at the old address. The series debuts March 30 at 8 p.m. Wolfe likes to make the most of minimalism with a design style that's southern and sophisticated. Many of her remodels feature airy spaces with white walls, wood accents, and pops with a bohemian character for what she calls a perfect blend of high and low. "I think a lot of times we just inherit the house and the rooms that we get, and we don't feel the license and [the guts] to reinvent it," Wolfe said. In the first episode, Wolfe helps Ned and Laura Hodge, a San Antonio couple who bought their home in the Alamo Heights area for its idyllic peach-tree backyard, only to find themselves buried in a jungle of clutter where the Her children's belongings are scattered around the house and a tiny laundry room that doubles as Ned's office. So Wolfe conjured up a new addition to the Hodges home, with a masculine office for Ned and a spa-like owner's suite for Laura. She also revamped the Hodges' existing space with an open-plan kitchen and living area that now offers a larger view of the backyard that first stole their hearts. Future Why the Heck episodes will feature San Antonio homeowners guessing their purchases in hindsight after hearing about a five-car garage, an acre of live oak trees and what Wolfe calls "a home that feels like stepping back in time." that feels 1960s”, were courted. As for the cost of their overhauls, Wolfe said budgets ranged from almost $100,000 to just over $200,000. The median home price in San Antonio is $361,889, according to the San Antonio Board of Realtors. "There's so little on the market and the prices are so high that I feel like more and more people are turning back to their own homes and saying, 'Let's do this together' and 'What do you want to be that you aren't you?'” Wolfe said. Before starting her own business, Wolfe worked at Kate Kingman Interiors in San Antonio for about a year. "She's just such a go-getter, eager to work and learn and has such a great sense of style," said Kate Kingman. Should the show return for a second season, Wolfe said she'd like to see more of San Antonio represented. Because after living in more than a dozen different cities, not to mention a few remote islands, Wolfe has never felt more at home than in Alamo City. And there is nothing better than falling in love with your home all over again.
