Shiba Inu was developed in August 2020 by an individual or group of people named "Ryoshi". The initial total of SHIB tokens was one quadrillion, or 1,000,000,000,000,000 tokens, and the price was trading at near zero. However, it was virtually unknown until a few months ago when Musk tweeted cryptic messages regarding the Shiba Inu pup. In May 2021, however, the pseudonymous developer of SHIB, known as "Ryoshi", delivered half of the total delivery to Vitalik Buterin, one of the co-founders of the Ethereum network, who immediately burned 90% of its tokens and put them out of circulation. In that month, SHIB became one of the most volatile crypto assets. It started on May 11 when Shiba Inu (SHIB) prices rose 1.953% from $ 0.00000172 to $ 0.000003532, but fell to $ 0.00000793 over the next three weeks. October was the month that SHIB coin prices skyrocketed. After months of sluggish trading, the SHIB price rose from $ 0.00000766 to $ 0.0002913 on October 13, 2021. SHIB hit its current all-time high of $ 0.000089 two weeks later on October 28th. The market momentum that influenced Shiba Inu is largely due to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was also responsible for the significant price hike on Dogecoin. Musk also bought a Shiba Inu puppy named Floki Frunkpuppy, which sparked another market surge. How is the Shiba Inu (SHIB) price determined? The SHIB price is influenced by supply and demand in the market. An increasing demand for SHIB-Coins causes the price to rise, while an increase in the supply of sell orders causes the price to fall. Shiba Inu has recently been in the spotlight due to its meteoric surge of more than 700,000% in just a few months. Numerous major media sites featured Shiba Inu in their headlines, encouraging people to buy more of these tokens, which made prices skyrocket. CNBC, stating that the token hit an all-time high of $ 0.00008845. Meanwhile, Forbes mentioned that the token is becoming more and more widespread due to the investments of more individuals. It also pointed out how an online petition against Robinhood's adoption of Shiba affected pricing, resulting in a massive return of over 700,000%. It ended up stating that Shiba Inu's potential has not yet been fully realized and that the token could be a riskier investment right now. Volume plays an important role in determining cryptocurrency prices. Increasing the volume of transactions leads to more stable cryptocurrency values and eliminates the possibility of price distortions. However, low crypto volume suggests that prices will fall or stay the same. Social media was a big driver of the price of SHIB. In October 2021, Elon Musk's tweets had a major impact on the price of the token. Even an online campaign to sign a petition saying Shiba Inu should be listed on the Robinhood Stock Exchange also had a big impact on Shiba Inu's prices. Mining is the process by which new cryptocurrency tokens are created. In cryptocurrency mining, a computer is used to validate the next block on the blockchain. In return, the protocol generates cryptocurrency tokens in addition to the fees paid by the trading parties to the miners. Participants invest significant sums of money in high-end hardware and electricity to mine Shiba Inu. In a proof-of-work system such as that used by Shiba Inu, the greater the competition for mining a particular cryptocurrency, the more difficult it is to mine. If mining costs go up, so will cryptocurrency prices. And since miners are necessary for the blockchain to function, the price must rise as long as there is demand for the blockchain. Trading leverage products may not be suitable for all investors. As with any asset, the values of digital currencies can fluctuate significantly. The value of digital currencies can often go up or down. 76.72% of retail CFD accounts lose money. Capital.com does not offer accounts for US residents. The traded price of digital tokens can fluctuate significantly within a short period of time. The market prices for digital tokens can be volatile and very unpredictable. How often does Shiba Inu (SHIB) price change? The Shiba Inu coin is a meme coin, but its value has increased as more and more people flock to this new cryptocurrency. Shiba Inu's crypto price rose nearly 2,300% in May 2021 alone, valuing the project at over $ 7 billion. While Shiba Inu is not the most popular cryptocurrency out there, it is obvious that cryptocurrency investors take it seriously. As of May 2021, the value of the Shiba Inu coin on ATH rose from $ 0.00005, followed by a sharp drop to 0.00000630%. Prices stayed the same until October when they suddenly saw a jump to $ 0.00008800, which was over 700000% profit. The reason is tweets from Tesla CEO Elon Musk and an online campaign to sign the petition to list Shiba Inu on the Robinhood exchange. Surprisingly, 2020 brought many positive changes to the Shiba network. The SHIB coin has maintained its upward momentum for 2021. The coin could have moved around the $ 0.00000001 price level last year on the stock exchange. The full year price estimates for the SHIB network showed great volatility, with the price jumping to around $ 0.0000125 in July and then jumping straight to $ 0.0008616 in October. Since then, prices have fallen more than 50% and the trend could continue through December. In line with the same optimistic price trend, there are projections that the price of Shiba Inu will rise even in 2022. While it is still too early to predict whether the Shiba Inu currency will break through the krona, it is certain that it will light at the end of the tunnel when compared to other meme currencies in the crypto space. SHIB price shows an upward trend only in the subsiding pandemic scenario and hits $ 0.000020. Shiba Inu price is again forecast to rule the crypto kingdom with an output of $ 0.000025, although the Shiba Inu price is not a breathtaking prospect and bulls will ride the crypto market. The year 2025 can be remembered as the milestone year as the SHIB token price is expected to surpass USD 0.000033 in any case. A look at Seattle Krakens top scorer Jordan Eberle

Jordan Eberle, who leads the Seattle Kraken on points and scored the team's first hat trick, has a history of getting through the clutch. (Author: Gardener)

Jordan EberleOne of the bigger additions to Seattle Kraken's draft expansion was veteran winger Jordan Eberle, a seasoned goalscorer and leader who has participated in several playoff runs. Seattle Kraken in a month: What works and what doesn't Eberle was supposed to make an offensive right away, but it didn't work out that way - he stayed empty in his first six games despite 13 shots on goal. He has now scored eight goals in his last nine games, including the first hat-trick in franchise history against the Buffalo Sabers on November 4th. Eberle is from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and played junior hockey for his hometown Regina Pats from 2006 to 2010. He scored 155 goals and 310 points for the Pats and won gold and silver in the 2009 Junior World Championships for Canada. He's still Canada's top scorer in the tournament with 14 goals, but one of those goals stands out from the rest. During the championship run in 2009 Canada were down 5-4 against Russia in the semifinals when Eberle scored the decisive goal with just five seconds to go. He later added a shootout goal to help his team, but it's his clutch kickback as the last seconds of regulation passed that will always be remembered as a legend in Canada. In 2020 TSN's “Beauties” podcast took a look back at this run from 2009 and spoke to Eberle about why it was so special for him. I think I was lucky enough to be instrumental in a game like this, it was emotional for her. Eberle was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers with the 22nd overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut at Edmonton in 2010 and spent seven seasons there, scoring 20 goals or more in five of them. He was then traded to the New York Islanders, where he spent the last four seasons before being selected for the Seattle Kraken Expansion Draft. He kept the pie pace of over 20 in his first two seasons in New York, and although his numbers have dropped just below that mark in recent years, his reputation for getting through the clutch continues. In three playoffs with the Islanders, Eberle scored 13 goals, including three game winners, and collected 36 points. Eberle, now 31, is someone who makes it big in big moments and that will be invaluable to this young Kraken team as they try to turn the corner and get out of the crisis early in the season. Away from the ice, music is a big part of Eberle's life. Kraken fans had a bit of fun when they found out he's a fan of Nickelback from a video recently shown on the Climate Pledge Arena scoreboard. , but Eberle's love for music is much broader. In an interview with MSG Networks during his time with the Islanders, he talked about developing an interest in music. "My father played (guitar) his whole life and I listened to him but never really started until I was a little older," said Eberle. "You know, the simple things like going to musicals that I love now, especially in New York, there are a lot of the best on Broadway." Eberle will probably find it difficult not to free himself from the music fever, considering that his wife is a music teacher. "We just enjoy it, I think," said Eberle. I play guitar. I've been playing for eight or nine years now. It was Lauren who gave Jordan a guitar in the first place, and from what he says he received it pretty well. Country singer Brett Kissel, Eberle's good friend, told Sportsnet in an interview last year that he is an excellent guitarist. 2 of my favorite things: Hockey & Country Music !! @BrettKissel & Jordan Eberle having a fun jam session after Kissel killed it at Stampede! So does Eberle get control of the music for team training? He recently told NHL Network that he cannot DJ. It's early days, we have to find out all of these things, but we're off to a good start, ”he joked. Seattle Kraken's new challenge is to keep the lead

West Ham fans excluded from the Europa League game after mass disruptions

West Ham is urging Uefa for clarification after their supporters were banned from participating in their team's Europa League away game next week against Rapid Vienna (Author: Gardener)

West HamWest Ham is urging Uefa for clarification after their supporters were banned from participating in their team's Europa League away game next week against Rapid Vienna. The East London club were "surprised and disappointed" after UEFA punished them for the spectator problems that tarnished their 2-2 draw in Genk on November 4th. The European Football Association accused West Ham supporters of crowd and object throwing during the game in Belgium. The quota of 1,700 tickets for the trip to Vienna on November 25th is sold out, but fans who have already made travel arrangements will now be banned from attending the game. West Ham, which was charged with almost £ 25,500 (€ 30,000) and a further £ 3,817 (€ 4,500) for throwing objects because of the unrest, said: “The club urges Uefa to clarify, especially in view of the extremely brief announcement of the Sanction that will affect our fans who have already bought tickets and agreed to travel to Austria for our game at Rapid Vienna in just over a week. “We are surprised by these sanctions and disappointed for the fans who behaved perfectly and supported the team throughout and are now unable to travel to the next away game in the Europa League. The club have requested the full written reasons for these sanctions from Uefa and asked them to expedite our request as further delay could affect fans again. “The club appreciates the fact that fans have booked a return trip and accommodation in Austria and emphasize this in our dialogue with Uefa. Uefa said: “The Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) announced today the following decision for the group stage match between KRC Genk and West Ham United FC (2-2) on November 4th in Belgium. "Indictment against West Ham United FC: crowd disturbances, Art. 16 (2) (h) of the UEFA Disciplinary Code (DR), throwing objects, Art. 16 (2) (b) DR. Decision: The CEDB has decided against West Ham United FC fined € 30,000 and banned the sale of tickets to their away fans for the next (1) UEFA competition match due to spectator disturbance, (and) fined West Ham United FC € 4,500 for Throwing objects. John Mulaney "hastened" the divorce to be with Olivia Munn and her baby

Contrary to a report that there is "uncertainty" in her relationship with John Mulaney, Olivia Munn said they were both "excited" to become parents. (Author: Gardener)

John MulaneyIf some predict the demise of the relationship between John Mulaney and Olivia Munn because it began during the whirlwind of his divorce and recovery from addiction, a new report - and Munn himself - reject that notion. Page Six reported that Mulaney switched attorneys and hired a powerful New York attorney to "expedite" his divorce from Anna Marie Tendler, his seven-year-old wife, while Munn prepares for the birth of her baby. "John wants to hurry things up and get a divorce," a source told Page Six of Mulaney, 39, who hired John Teitler, the same attorney who represented Matt Lauer's ex-wife Annette Roque. "He's going to be a dad, so he moved to a new law firm with a reputation for being tough and efficient," the source added. Meanwhile, Munn, 41, spoke to Today host Hoda Kotb about how excited she and Mulaney are to become parents. Munn didn't say much about Mulaney in her recent interviews about impending motherhood, a subject that helped fuel a report that there was "insecurity" in the relationship and whether she would raise alone. However, the 'Violet' star reacted slightly to Kotb's suggestion that Mulaney is her boyfriend: "I know you're excited." We're just very excited, "Munn replied. Munn added," You know God be Honestly, thanks for Instagram and Facebook and blogs because there are a lot of mothers who post so much information, if it's like a dog I can do that. ”“ But I feel like it's going to be very different, ”she joked. Munn also revealed in an interview this week that being pregnant while her personal life is in the spotlight was stressful. While Munn said on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show" that she understands the interest in celebrity pregnancies, she admitted to that it's different now that she is the pregnant star of interest. A major downside is that news of her pregnancy leaked before she was ready, Munn said. "I think what was harder was when People talk about it and it Let it leak out before I'm ready to talk about it, "Munn said in an interview. "Since I became pregnant, four different friends have all lost their pregnancies after the safe zone, (one after) three months, two after four months, and one after five or six months." That, combined with her age, added some risk to her pregnancy, she explained. "There are many elements that come into play when you're pregnant," said Munn. Rumors of Munn's pregnancy surfaced over the summer, although Munn may have confirmed Munn's pregnancy as early as Mulaney 2nd during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers in September. The former Saturday Night Live writer also confirmed that he and Munn were dating as he described his year on the roller coaster. He claimed that he and the glamorous Newsroom star started dating some time after he finished another rehab in February. As if things couldn't get more complicated, the romance blossomed when Mulaney ended his marriage to Tendler, an artist, and left rehab for a second time, Mulaney added. "She held my hand through this (latest post-rehab) hell and ... we're going to have a baby together," a dizzy Mulaney said of Munn. Mulaney told Meyers that he "moved out" of his house with Tendler in October 2020 when he finished his first stay in rehab. There were questions, however, about Mulaney's stated timeline for his romance with Munn. Page Six reported that Mulaney didn't file for divorce from Tendler until February, the same month he left rehab for the second time. A Us Weekly report last month also offered a less rosy view of Mulaney and Munn's relationship, saying the couple faced a lot of "uncertainty". A source told Us Weekly, “This has been an imperfect relationship from the start. Although Olivia will be a wonderful mother and has great support behind her, Olivia's friends just don't see the two of them dating in a year. ”Any“ uncertainty ”should perhaps come as no surprise, as Mulaney admitted the romance blossomed when he recovered from his second drug relapse in less than a year. The Us Weekly source went on to say that the couple will definitely "make great parents," but as of now, "nobody knows if they will do it together or separately." According to the source, Mulaney and Munn may not even be common parents, a kid-friendly arrangement that many estranged celebrity couples seek out. “Olivia and John have yet to decide what kind of future they will have together, if any. It is a time of uncertainty for both of them, ”said the insider. Whatever goes on with Mulaney and Munn - as a couple or separately - such uncertainty does not surprise anyone familiar with the emotional ups and downs of addiction and recovery. In fact, Mulaney ignored a well-known recommendation for people in recovery by starting a new relationship with Munn so soon after leaving rehab. The recommendation is that newcomers to single alcoholics and addicts should not enter into new relationships or enter into new relationships for at least a year. A new relationship can temporarily obscure the underlying problems a recovered addict needs to distract from the mental and emotional focus necessary for recovery. Because people are also not emotionally stable in early recovery, their new relationships can be potentially volatile, which could trigger a relapse, experts say.

The secrets of the so-called "Havana Syndrome"

The injuries to U.S. personnel are real, and the cause of the syndrome wasn't crickets - but excessive secrecy has frustrated investigators and hampered victims' efforts to understand this mysterious disease. (Author: Gardener)

Havana SyndromeBehind closed doors and with little fanfare, President Joe Biden signed the law on October 8 to assist American victims affected by neurological attacks. Known as the "Havana Law" - a misnomer as most of the alleged "attacks" took place far away from Cuba - the law empowers the CIA and the State Department to compensate a growing number of agents and diplomats who have cognitively raised their hands conditional injuries from a mysterious and as yet unidentified source. The impetus for the new law came from complaints from a number of injured US employees that their own administration, particularly during the Donald Trump era, disapproved of their medical needs and the legitimacy of their injuries.1 "We're not making this up - these are real people happens, ”an injured Havana embassy official said in a dramatic interview with NBC News in October. Indeed, public skepticism remains high - reinforced by proponents of the mass hysteria theory as a likely explanation that is gaining prominence in the media's opinion, as well as misleading coverage of a secret government study that exposed the original "sonic attack" theory Cuba. "Secret State Department Report Suggests Probable Cause of Havana Syndrome: BUGGED," read the headline of a Daily Beast story. "A released State Department report says microwaves don't cause Havana Syndrome," told BuzzFeed News, who received the document under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA ).3 But 80 percent of the 98-page report written for the State Department was by of the elite scientific advisory group JASON, was edited for national security reasons - to protect the intelligence agents among those in Cuba who experienced an officially so-called "abnormal health incident". About half of the 200 or so cases of AHIs in China, Colombia, Austria, Germany, Australia, India, Vietnam, and other locations have been reported by members of the CIA.4 The fact that CIA spies are involved casts a long shadow over secrecy about efforts to solve this national security puzzle. As in the case of the JASON report, the information was restricted and heavily censored; official investigations were compromised due to lack of access to classified information; and the oversight of Congress has been kept at bay until recently. The lack of transparency has delayed progress in determining the cause and culprit behind these incidents. Most importantly, those who have suffered these traumatic injuries have been left in the dark about what happened to them and what this means for their health and wellbeing - a sensation of intense pressure on the face, [and] loud, piercing Noise in one ear, ”the saga of the syndrome was dominated by secrecy. For weeks, the CIA kept a secret that their agents were gradually haunted by an “invisible beam of energy” in their homes in Havana, hoping to find out what happened to them before it became public. But after rumors of a mysterious illness spread among a panicked embassy community, Ambassador Jeffrey DeLaurentis, the head of mission, convened a staff meeting in late March 2017 to discuss the incidents. Nearly 50 embassy staff gathered at a Sensible Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) where DeLaurentis stated that the mysterious diseases were being investigated and medical assistance was available. "He closed the meeting by asking the assembled staff not to speak about the situation outside the safe confines of the embassy, including with their families," because the matter was kept secret. The delay in the exchange of information between the CIA and the State Department was a critical flaw in the management of the nascent crisis, according to the State Department's first internal investigation - an investigation that was self-delaying as the Trump administration closed any investigation that would acknowledge it seemed to block the CIA's presence in Cuba. By law, any security incident involving embassy staff requires an accountability review board to be convened, typically within 60 days of a credible incident. But even as reported cases of injuries to U.S. diplomats and agents in Cuba increased and then spread to the Canadian embassy, the ARB wasn't convened until early 2018 - more than a year after CIA agents first reported symptoms. "At both the [Havana] Post and Washington, the response to the incidents was characterized by undue secrecy, which contributed to a delayed response," concluded the ARB.7 The State Department refused to submit the report to the investigative body of Congress, the Government Accountability Office, to be submitted, approved a briefing instead. Likewise, the Trump administration opposed a request from senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Robert Menendez, to give Congress an unclassified copy.8 Nor was the ARB report shared with a team of National Academy of Sciences investigators, which was commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to determine the cause of the injuries. In an interview, Dr. David Relman, chairman of the NAS Standing Committee to advise the Department of State on unexplained health effects on US government employees and their families at embassies abroad, how his team was denied access to relevant national security records. Even an unclassified epidemiological assessment by the CDC was taboo; the NAS team eventually received the CDC report through unofficial channels.9 Frozen: Dr. David Relman led a team that investigated the health effects of the incidents but was denied access to relevant national safety records. The JASON report was among the classified assessments that NAS investigators were not able to tell. S. Diplomats in Cuba ”evaluated the“ Rapid Response Study ”of eight tape recordings made by US personnel in Havana, of a high-pitched buzz that they linked to their injuries. Through an acoustic analysis, the JASON team concluded that the recorded noises matched the mating call of the Indian short-tailed cricket “excellently ”.10 However, the report clearly indicated the weak correlation between the recordings and the injuries. Seven of the recordings were actually not made “at the same time as the reported occurrence of symptoms”, but at different times and locations; In addition, some victims said they had not heard any sound at all. The JASON scientists explicitly stated that "the sound pressure intensity levels of the recorded and audible noises in themselves are not the cause of reported long-term damage" for the victims. The main message of the report was not that the noise of the crickets in love caused Havana Syndrome, but something else.11 Neither microwaves nor other energy sources could "produce both the recorded sound / video signals and the reported medical effects," according to JASON Report said, leaving open the possibility that a directed energy device could actually cause the health incidents on its own. Contrary to BuzzFeed's claims that JASON "dismissed" microwaves as a possible cause, the study included a section on how to contain the threat of "electromagnets" if identified as the source of the syndrome. The Trump administration managed to cover up the existence of the secret JASON report; it tried to do the same with the unclassified NAS report. Dr. Relman noted that the NAS expects the State Department to make its report publicly available upon submission in August 2020. "The American people and their elected officials deserve to read what we have found," said Dr. Relman in October 2020 public. In an effort to get the State Department to publish the report. The study was eventually leaked to the New York Times and NBC News - presumably by one of the victims who received a copy - and then published on the NAS website on December 5, 2020 - the NAS team concluded that "many of the suspicious and acute signs, symptoms, and observations reported by State Department and CIA officials are consistent with the effects of directed, pulsed radio frequencies." It exceeded the NAS's ability to identify the source, the report found. However, the authors cautioned that "just looking at such a scenario raises serious concerns about a world with unrestrained malicious actors and new tools to harm others." 14 Spread around the world, the identities of these "malicious actors" and which are "new." Tools “using them when appropriate have been the subject of intense speculation and debate. "No known form of energy can cause selective brain damage (with laser-like precision) under the conditions described for the alleged incidents in Havana," the report said. The injuries to the US and Canadian embassy communities were likely due to "a heterogeneous collection of illnesses, some pre-existing prior to the trip to Cuba and some acquired for secular reasons". She also cited conditions for the "psychogenic spread of malaise" - commonly known as mass hysteria - as a causal factor in the trauma some victims have endured, which also focused on psychogenic causes - without actually interviewing US personnel, their unit Brain injuries have been medically confirmed. "I mean, I've been physically injured," said NBC's husband Andrea Mitchell, describing the concussion-like brain disorder that left her incapacitated and ended her diplomatic career. US science experts also deny that there is actually any directed energy device that could cause such injuries. As Cheryl Rofer, whose 35-year career at Los Alamos Laboratories worked on microwave technologies, among other things, argued in Foreign Policy, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and no evidence has been presented to prove the existence of this mysterious weapon." 17 But one informed debate about weapons-based microwaves has been made almost impossible in the face of the strict secrecy surrounding the research and development of such technologies. The CIA began investigating the potential of microwave weapons as part of their MKULTRA mind control program in the 1950s - after analyzing Soviet scientific literature suggesting that microwave radiation could be used to disorient military and diplomatic personnel. An early MKULTRA experiment was entitled "Effects of RF Energy on Primate Cerebral Activity". In the mid-1960s, the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) initiated another secret study, codenamed "Project Pandora", of the effects of microwaves on monkey behavior, to find out whether the Soviet program of beaming microwaves in the The US embassy in Moscow was an attempt to weaken the personnel stationed there. The "Moscow Signal," as the radiation in secret cables was called, targeted the embassy from 1953 to 1979, setting an eerie, if distant, precedent for what now appears to be targeted by US personnel around the world.18 In 1996, a National Security Agency officer named Mike Beck was hit by extreme vertigo in his hotel room while on a mission to a "hostile country". "There is intelligence from 2012 linking the enemy country Mr. Beck traveled to in the late 1990s with a powerful microwave system weapon that can weaken, intimidate or kill an enemy over time without leaving evidence . “Reads an NSA document released in 2014 as part of a workers' injury lawsuit that Beck filed after he and a colleague on that mission both developed a rare form of Parkinson's disease. “The 2012 intelligence revealed that this weapon was designed to microwave a target's living quarters, which has numerous physical effects, including a damaged nervous system.” 19 This information and the name of the country Beck is in Injuries sustained remain highly ranked despite their obvious relevance to understanding the causes of current unexplained health incident cases. Sources familiar with the still-classified intelligence report told the New York Times the country was Russia.20 Russia is also linked to the recent case of veteran CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos, who was in his hotel room during a December 2017 trip to Moscow . For three years the CIA's medical bureau denied his requests for medical treatment and workers' compensation, but under the new leadership of Director William Burns, his claims were accepted as part of the growing cohort of AHI cases. Polymeropoulos regards his case and the more recently reported cases as an "act of war". He has become a high profile advocate of an aggressive US response.21 These cases have contributed to a crude consensus within national security agencies that the AHI violations are real; that the cause is some kind of modernized and portable microwave oven; and that the likely culprit is Russian military intelligence. "Senior officials in the Trump and Biden administrations suspect that the Russians are responsible for the syndrome," said Adam Entous, who covered the story extensively for The New Yorker. RU, the Russian military intelligence agency, has aimed microwave radiation devices at US officials, possibly in order to steal data from their computers or smartphones, which caused serious damage to the target persons addressed the Russian head of state Vladimir Putin. The saga started: Staff at the US Embassy in Havana had mysterious health symptoms at home in 2016. Lack of leadership, ineffective communication and systemic disorganization. ”But those affected did not find the Biden administration to be more responsive or transparent, at least initially. “We were discouraged to learn and learn that the department staff continues to 1) deny employees and injured family members access to adequate medical evaluation and treatment, 2) reject scientific evidence regarding the injuries and treatment needs, and 3) our injuries and void experiences, ”a group of 21 State Department officials wrote to Deputy Secretary of State Brian McKeon on May 25. They called for the State Department leadership to "stand by the women and men who drive our foreign policy by prioritizing the health and safety of our officials." 23 In 2018, eight former members of the Havana embassy community retained the prestigious Washington, D. On her behalf, Zaid played a role in urging Congress to pass the Havana law. Along with Entous of The New Yorker, Zaid - the founder of the James Madison Project, a public interest law firm dedicated to promoting national security rights - filed a FOIA lawsuit for access to thousands of pages of classified records to get by the State Department investigation on AHIs. Senior members of Congress have repeatedly urged both the Trump and Biden administrations for more information - and have repeatedly complained about non-compliance. "The department has not provided any important details about the incidents in which several of these employees were seriously injured," said a letter from six New Hampshire senators, led by Jeanne Shaheen, to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo just before Trump went office. “We also have very limited information about the ministry's assessment of the cause and ways to prevent future incidents. It is imperative that the department provide us with the relevant information currently in their possession. ”Shaheen and Senator Susan Collins then drafted the Havana Act, the CIA and State Department reports to Congress on the distribution of Compensation funds to increase the flow of information to lawmakers.25 With growing understanding, Biden urgently signed the bill to solve this mystery as cases crop up around the world. In August, Vice President Kamala Harris's trip to Vietnam was delayed by the evacuation of two US officials from Hanoi who had suffered from syndrome-like symptoms. In September a member of the CIA entourage who accompanied director William Burns to India experienced an AHI; in October, five families of US diplomats were reportedly haunted in Bogotá as Secretary of State Anthony Blinken prepared to visit Colombia to create a crisis of confidence in national security and foreign policy institutions. Recently, just six months after she was appointed by Secretary of State Blinken, the State Department removed Ambassador Pamela Spratlen from overseeing the Health Incident Response Task Force “to reaffirm our commitment to ensure that those affected receive the care and treatment they need ". Spratlen had reportedly refused to oppose the FBI study of mass hysteria, which offended the injured field service officers for whom she was appointed. Around the same time, the Vienna station chief of the CIA was removed from office for not aggressively investigating several reports of AHIs among his agents in Austria. There is no question that the Biden administration is actively investigating the mysterious injuries suffered by US security personnel. The State Department and the Pentagon have set up task forces to increase their bureaucratic focus on the issue; the CIA has stepped up its efforts by appointing a new task force chief - an undercover counterterrorism agent who is a veteran of the campaign to track down and kill Osama bin Laden. The Joint Intelligence Community Council held secret high-level briefings to share information between authorities. "Handling these incidents was a top priority for my government," Biden said in a statement he released when the Havana Act was signed. S. Government to provide those affected with first-class medical care and to get to the bottom of these incidents, also in order to determine the cause and who was responsible. ”28 If this determination is made, it will meet with widespread skepticism in view of the intensity the debate about this puzzling phenomenon - unless the investigation file is released for public scrutiny. Five years after CIA agents first encountered mysterious health problems in Cuba, the paper trail of the secret documentation is long and getting longer; and there is no evidence that Biden plans to lift the veil of undue secrecy that characterized and compromised this investigation from the outset. As a growing list of individual health incidents becomes a perceived but still unexplained threat to national security, this lack of transparency will continue to deprive AHI victims of the information they need to know - and, like the rest of us, the right to know

Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari were yelled at on the set of "Bosom Buddies" for irritating the crew that way

Tom Hanks recalls how he and Peter Scolari drove the 'Bosom Buddies' crew so insane that they had to yell at the two actors. (Author: Gardener)

Tom HanksWhen Peter Scolari died on October 22nd, most of his obituaries mentioned bosom buddies. Newhart and Girls too, but Bosom Buddies was his big break. Tom Hanks was Scolari's co-star on Bosom Buddies, and Hanks recalls the troubles they got into earlier. Hanks featured on the Smartless podcast on October 31st. When sharing memories with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett of Scolari, he revealed that they got into trouble during rehearsals. Getting the lead roles on Bosom Buddies was a huge step in Hanks and Scolari's acting careers. They performed in front of a live audience and rehearsed for the television cameras. RELATED: Tom Hanks Knows Exactly What Role To Play On The MCU - He Only Holds Out For Marvel To Ask When we were filming Bosom Buddies, Peter Scolari, and me, my dear old pal, we actually got this show on video shot, not on film cameras. Film cameras back then, that was quite a lot. The day of the camera lock was like your stand did. We had four video cameras and had to do the entire camera blocking day in front of the camera ourselves because they did a line cut. Let's come back, let's get back to two and two. ”You had to be there for that, so you worked a long day, repeating every line of script that week. Blocking cameras can be a chore for actors, but it's necessary for the show to run smoothly. As young actors in their 20s, Hanks and Scolari didn't always take camera blocking as seriously as they should have. "He and I were just joking around so much that we were yelled at a few times," said Hanks. Can you just jump to the lines? Otherwise we cannot interrupt the line. Check the lights on camera three, Tom. If that happens ... ’We didn't care. Bosom Buddies only lasted two seasons, but both actors did well after that. Scolari landed in Newhart in 1984, and Hanks went on to become a movie star, a top box office name, and eventually an Oscar winner. Hanks was serious when he called Scolari his "dear old pal". They kept in touch, and Scolari made a cameo in the film that Hanks directed, That Thing You Do. Hanks has been at the top for so long, it's hard to imagine how desperate he was making Bosom Buddies . To put things in perspective, Hanks described his lifestyle long before Forrest Gump's profit-sharing and the HBO production businesses. "I couldn't believe it, I wanted to be on TV," said Hanks. “Up until that point, I was making less than $ 10,000 in a year as a Shakespeare actor for a full year. Gosh, I did that at Bosom Buddies in two weeks.

Pacers 84After beating the Philadelphia 76ers at home, the Pacers took to the streets again to claim their first winning streak in three games of the season. The three-game road stint began with a trip to Madison Square Garden to take on the nagging New York Knicks. However, it looked like Indiana (6-9) would be the team in crisis tonight. The Blue & Gold shot a season low of 37.2 percent out of the field as they fell 92-84 to New York (8-6). "We had three really good defensive quarters," said Rick Carlisle after the game. Indiana suffered multiple droughts and only scored 10 points on the 2-of-20 shootout in the fourth quarter. Malcolm Brogdon led the way for Indiana with 22 points but went off the floor with 9 out of 20. Caris LeVert scored 17 as the third and final double-digit pacer. Knicks banker Immanuel Quickley linked Kemba Walker with a team high 16. "I felt we did a good job at the end of the day," said Sabonis of the defense. "I have a feeling that if we had only come on the offensive, it would have been a completely different fourth quarter." Neither team started out particularly hot in the first moments of the first. The first eight Knicks points belonged to Walker as the Pacers defense advanced against the rest of the New York starters. After LeVert knocked in two early buckets, Sabonis led a personal 7-2 run to put Indiana 11-8 ahead at the 7-11 mark. The result stayed the same over the next 2:18 as both sides fought open shots. New York finally broke the drought with two buckets of 2020-21 all-star Julius Randle. Evan Fournier's jumper with 3:52 to go brought the hosts back into the lead with 14-13. But Indiana's defense kept its strength on the line. The team held the Knicks goalless for the last 2:57 of the frame. Meanwhile, the offense dumped five points including an impressive one and a finish from Goga Bitadze from a feed from Sabonis to take a 20-16 lead in the second. The Knicks started the second with eight straight points, including back-to-back threes from Quickley, to create a four-point lead at 9:09. It was the first two triples Indiana allowed. The run allowed New York to hold the lead for the next few minutes. The Knicks succeeded in the paint, finding open lanes after forcing the Pacers to spin hard. From 3:41 a.m. onwards, the teams alternated four times with a one-point lead. Justin Holidays Springer with 3:07 before the game put Indiana in the lead with 39:38. Randle, however, responded with five in a row, including his first 3-pointer, to regain a four-point lead. The Knicks threatened to retreat further after Taj Gibson's block on Sabonis resulted in a three from Fournier on the other end. However, the team responded with a three-in-a-row in the final 36.1 seconds and ended half-time with a 49-48 lead. 52-51 behind at the start of the third round, Indiana struck seven straight times, including a tough left-handed floater from Sabonis over Mitchell Robinson to take a 58-52 lead at 9:24 minutes. Despite a break from Knicks, the run continued immediately. LeVert rebuilt one hard and one finish in the paint to expand the lead to nine. For the next few minutes, Indiana controlled a comfortable lead. The Knicks began to threaten a bit after RJ Barrett got hot, however. Two threes - his first points of the game - by the former Duke star in 14 seconds shortened the Pacers' lead to 70-62 with 4:45 minutes to go. From there, the Pacers only scored four more points for the rest of the quarter. The defense, however, kept New York in check. After Kelan Martin's layup extended the Pacers lead to 2:05, the Knicks managed only one field goal, a 3-pointer from Alec Burks, to reduce the lead to 74-69, who finished fourth. It was another defensive start to fourth. But the Knicks managed to tie things up at 74 with a three from Quickley at 8:52 a.m. With 7:15 before the game, New York took the first lead of the second half after Burke hit 2 of 3 from the Charity Stripe. The Pacers quickly regained the lead nine seconds later after Brogdon ran the floor and hit another tough layup. LeVert then followed with two free throws to extend the lead to 82-79 at 5:48. However, the Knicks responded with eight unanswered, including another Quickley triple to take an 87-82 lead with 3:26 to go. During the run, the Pacers shot 0-for-5 out of the field. Indiana broke a 3:53 scoring drought after LeVert threw a couple of free throws with 1:55 free throws remaining. The freebies reduced Indiana's deficit to 87-84. With just over a minute playing, Sabonis had a chance to cut it down to a minute. Derrick Rose then hit a floating floater with 57 seconds remaining and extended the lead to five. The Pacers then had two decent looks from below, but they just didn't fall. A 3-hand from Barrett with 19.8 seconds left then slammed the door for good. The 84 points were a season low for the Blue & Gold, who next have the Detroit Pistons. On the positive side, Indiana dropped a season low of nine ball losses on Monday while forcing 12. Myles Turner hit a season low of three points in 1-of-4 shooting. He picked up two more blocks and expanded his NBA management season to 49 overall. "We're a strong team. In the past we beat New York. Tonight they beat us. This is our third." / fourth game in which we are all healthy. Indiana missed its last 13 shots of the game. They scored no field goal after Brogdon's layup with 7:06 remaining. * Pacers rookie Chris Duarte didn't play on Monday. * The Pacers have now lost two consecutive street games to the Knicks, having previously won four in a row. * Indiana has two more games on the road before nine of its 11 games are played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers travel to Detroit for their first meeting of the season with their Central Division rival on Wednesday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Pacers are returning from a three-game road trip to meet the New Orleans Pelicans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
